Select the Camera Weapon.
That should hide your character.
The Equirectangular-Model should have six different textures.
For some reason on your Model every texture is the same.
Unfortunately I couldn't replicate the bug.
My current suspicion is a conflict with an another addon.
Does the bug still occour when you disable the other addons?
I'll send you a friend request to continue troubleshoot the cause.
It's divided into 7 parts
I need a help
I don't think this is a post processing effect since it needs to render the scene multiple times per frame to pull it off.
If you are looking for an On- and Off-toggle, you can find it in the Spawn menu under:
Right Panel > Options > Player > Equirectangular Projection
Partial Post-Processing support added.
In the spawn menu there is a default Post Process tab.
I only managed to get some of the Shaders and Texturize effects working.
Lemme answer your question with an Addon-Update.
It should be compactible with the High Resolution Camera: 8k+ screenshots addon now.
I also added a new setting, which lets you modify the texture resolution to get a better image quality (Strong GPU recommended for higher values).
I hope I could help you.
I used your addon to make SteamVR backgrounds based on NeoTokyo maps, a couple examples are "Ballistremade 3" and "Rise - Server Room" .
Thanks again for your hard work, you've made a very useful addon!
Is there a way to force the viewed scene to a 0 degrees-level view, for a screenshot to be used as a VR background for example? I find it difficult to make it level enough by eye that it doesn't end up tilted forward or backward in the resulting pano. I've tried using "setang 0 90" in the console but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Thanks again!
Anyway, next time I'll try to disable this addon to see if this was the one what somehow conflicting with the default flashlight.
Try this command: bind f "impulse 100"
You can make the following:
- 360° Videos
- HDRI reflections
- Skyboxes
- Just enjoying that trippy effect while playing gmod
The reason why I accidentally called it 'silly' is because the random events on Termina Arena are usually silly and ridiculous.
If you have a low fps, try to lower your resolution and restart the map.
It has to render the scene six times to do the effect.
Time for me to get back working to improve the gamemode Reconstructed Ultimate Chimera Hunt .
Fun-Fact: The 360° FOV Effect is used as one of my random events on my map Termina Arena .
If I get an another silly idea which is worth to become an addon, I'll post it on the gmod workshop.
Would proper camera or thirdperson support be possible to implement at some point?
