Yes, either one of those conditions will 'recharge' the buff.

so the " Trial of Blades" should be triggered if either "losing melee combat“ OR "'if leadership is below 50%",not requiring BOTH circumstance?

Very cool rework, makes them feel unique! Still, shade spam will always be meta.
