Small update today! Just adding the Richter set from Castlevania: Nocturne, and Alucards sword as a minion inspired by seeing it in Stars Above.

Thank you for that- but I am currently working on the mod just got a lot of projects going at once. Though I aim to do the next update soon even if it is small.

I would love for this to be a full-blown Castlevania mod pack someday.... I wish I knew of coders to help advocate in helping you to code in bosses and other stuff from the Castlevania series into here... This is a great first step!

here a sugestion: minions from Castlevania Curse of Darkness.
i feel like this version of castlevania need more love and i kinda ant to see these minions in the game.

This looks promising. May I suggest you make sub-weapon talismans? Each talisman represents a sub-weapon. The sub-weapon use magic. If you could add Castlevania: Harmony of Despair progression of sorts, that would be really neat, and promote to actually keep using your weapons. This would mean, that the more you use a sub-weapon, the stronger it gets, and different feats it can do. For instance, after a good while of XP gained with dagger sub-weapon, you will fire two daggers at once. At max level, you fire 3 daggers at once. For Holy Water, its main color to be green at first, and works as stationary as in Castlevania 1. When you reach a certain amount of level with it, it turns blue, and flames travel (like Richter in SotN). When you reach max level, it turns purple and hit-combo rate to be increased dramatically - like Alucard's in SotN. Definitely think it would work nice.

Sub weapons will be added next update, mainly covering those from early games in the series, while bosses and the like is something that most likely won't be added given my current ability

I see, I personally think if you move this mod's whips to become a new damage type, let's say Holy, it would restrict this mod to becoming it's own thing, rather than a mod that can be played with alongside the major mods. But I think it can work either way!

There's a lot of subweapons in the castlevania series, dagger, holy water, cross, axe, and Grand Cross, so honestly making a vampire hunter themed class on itself is not difficult, just that it feels like a summoner whips only challenge.

I will check out your other Chance class mod and see how it goes!

Thats definitely an idea, I'm planning to add castlevania content in waves, and still deciding whether or not I change the whip weapons to a new damage type and move them away for summoner, but at the same time, summoners could use the weapons

This is a cool start, if you're really into the whole whip character play through perhaps make accessories or armor that benefit whips only? Like a subclass for summoner. Either way, can't wait to see more.
