I couldn't start the game because it couldn't find the mod as the name was changed during the update. I reverted the name of the mod in the descriptor file to the previous one - Coloured Buttons Götterdämmerung. Started the game in offline mode, made a new safe. And now it's working fine even online. But yeah, changing the name of the mod is confusing the game...

Save games dont break without using Ironman-compatible Mods. Just start the game

Hi ToDIROS I had the same problem. Go to single or multiplayer in the menu, then load game and find your score.
Even if there is a red exclamation mark, go to it and start the game.
It took a while, but it's best to save the savegame as a new file. Then the red exclamation mark will have disappeared the next time you start the game. Have fun

My safe from two days ago broke after this update? How can I fix it? The game cannot find the mod even though I'm obviously subscribed to it.

You can use the old version of the mod for 1.14.10, my computer does not pull the new version, and the icons refuse to work correctly on the old version due to the update.

well, looks like it changed to a new icon.

The market icon isn't just colored, it's a completely different icon than the one in vanilla and not a very good looking one at that.

Hey, I was just letting you know that you are definitely going to need to update the mod since Götterdämmerung is going to change the UI again, with the market and research tabs being changed. Thanks for keeping this mod alive BTW

that does absolutely nothing, it just changes the metadata to make it appear to be compatible with every version

for everyone interested - open 3049156464.mod in \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\mod folder and replace

supported_version="1.14.1" with supported_version="*"

and you'll have the mod updated forever

Should work with other IM mod compatible, too, like larger aces, non reflective water etc

I agree with @Vincente Steele. If you want to avoid having to answer the same question over and over again, just take a minute to specify which version it's compatible with. Then at least, you can ignore the morons that don't read the mod info.
