There's a technique with lighter cars, I added invisible walls behind the railings there and you can drive onto them (it's tough though). I'll work on turning down the extremeness of that launcher sometime :)

Thank you :) It gets old seeing Mario-Kart tracks on the workshop with no actual play-features/moving parts (looking at you, coconut mall); part of what motivated me was to re-create the track just as it was!

Thank you, IRIS, you've been super cool throughout the map's life. I'll probably change up the board texture later on in the future, but I'm pretty happy with the map in its current state. By the way, I did fix that launcher bug - Sorry about that!!!

im back from playing!

First, the board pinballs are great! There behavior is almost if not basically the same as the original.

Second, the only things you really have to now to make this map the most complete is to add lighting, and change the blue boards VERY light blue texture. Thats really it :).

Lastly, one of your recent updates on nov 21 broke the launcher sound (it does not play anymore) :(.

Of course you don't have to make all those changes for now :).

MAP'S DONE, FOLKS!!!

I'll release bug fixes and whatnot if people have problems, and maybe I'll make the wisp thingy in the tunnel nicer, but other than that, all features of this map are DONE!!!

It's been so great working on this map, thank you guys so much for sticking with me through its development :) Next up, I'll be making Tick-Tock Clock, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Announcement: After I finish the board's pinballs, I'll pronounce this map officially finished so I can move onto the next project. Speaking of that, the (two) people have spoken, and the people say "TIck-Tock Clock." I was thinking that one'd be good, too, and it looks easy as pie to re-create. Toodles <3

I will when it's complete; I think of its position there as a sign the map's not finished. Also, I'd like to say that I'm still working on adding the rest of the pinball system and the gray section of the track. In fact, I totally remade it from scratch and it looks... Beautiful. Hey, cool dudes. An update's gonna drop pretty soon with some fixes to the weird geometry on the gray-green sections of the track. I'm also gonna add the rest of the pinballs, which, unless I'm very much mistaken, will complete all the play features for this map! (HUGE goal reached for me, especially after less than two months of development).

I've learned so much on this fantastic journey we've had together, and I thank all of you for sticking with me since the baby-stages of the map - Let's hope the next project is even better!

JK, THE LAUNCHER FINALLY FUCKING WORKS THANK GOD!!!

I mean simfphys vehicles acts strangely with the launcher, but IDC. Im just glad the launcher finally works again!

The next update will focus on fixing broken textures and making the pieces of the map fit together properly; quite a bit got messed up since I had to shift everything to the side (though it's mostly minor stuff). Next, I want to figure something out with the blue board to make it nicer/less bumpy - Thinking about just making a texture with the decals pre-glued onto it). After that, I'll add the other rolling pinballs to the mix!

I know you're frustrated about the launcher, and believe me I am too.

I wish I can just look at the map on my own on my own hammer to see whats going on myself. But I need to learn how to use hammer first (mainly how to convert BSP files). I would like to download hammer++ for gmod, but the process looks like an absolute NIGHTMARE, so im not going to do it for now.

I will be doing this in my own time and I will tell you the progress later. See you then.

Hey guys, just want to be clear that I'm working on fixing the launcher; I know it's broken for a lot of you, and I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out what went wrong! What's especially frustrating is that it seems to work normally on my machine (it hasn't been super helpful for testing)... Either way, expect a fix sometime today!

Have not tried without addons yet. Im worried about disabling all of them, because I might lose progress on some of them, and I do not want to go back and enable all the specific ones again.

I should mention, the beginning launcher USED to work fine, until a update came out that added the ring I think? Idk if the ring is the issue or something else?

The issue of the launcher has not stopped unfortunately. Even when I go above the launcher and drive on it, it does not launch the vehicle (the vehicle kind of jolts back a little bit, but thats it).

Its strange, because the rest of the launchers work on the map (mainly from the boosters). And even stranger, the beginning launcher DOES work on player entitys only, it will launch me through the tube just fine.

By the way i've been playing this map with simfphys vehicles, and its really fun (if you are good at drifting that is).

I'd also like to announce an upcoming update; turns out, the layout of the green section has been slightly wrong this whole time - The first length of green needs to line up in the dead center of the board (I realized this after making some of the pinball rails). Will fix shortly :)

Very true; I'll admit that section kinda got put onto the backburner after I finished it so I could focus on the other parts. As for the textures, the issue is that the ones ripped from the game aren't blue; they're overlays that were set over a blue mirror (which I assume to be locked in MKDS's engine). I'll definitely figure something out though! Also, just to confirm, has the issue with the launcher stopped for you?
