All 3 of the bars are willing to buy Illegal Goods at a high markup, and Smuggler's Run 15 seconds away actually sells Narcotics

And if you're willing to put an extra 2 minutes of your time, you can also dump the entire Swamp's production on them since they're right next to it

Would you consider making Illegal Goods forbidden at the Trade Depot to remove that super cheap money exploit ?

@|_| Clyax Aug 7 @ 5:38pm there is a function in the dialog editor to "Pay funds" all you would need to do is set the dialog to check that the recipent of the funds was the dialog user "IF_PLAYER", on the economic changes. Generally though I consider BEING PAID to have convenience a cheat for the player involved, and would likely mark mods doing such as having the "Cheat" Type. Also bear in mind, that the dialog is particularly finicky, and editing it is not exactly easy (i had trouble with my mod repeatedly giving bread randomly to everyone because it was on the wrong step of the dialog)

@Seven That is the result of you sending them before you had a base. It's the same as sending mercs to a place that doesn't exist. They just wander off. Just import and rehire.

I hired 3 merchants to follow me before i built my base and ended up losing all of them and not being able to find more, is there a fix to this or a location i can check?

One idea I have is to make it so they pay you . This way it is like allowing the traders to set up shop in exchange for paying rent on the area in your base where they set up shop.

I know that this is using code from mercenaries where you have to pay them, but what if you set the payment to a negative value? Would it end up with them paying you? If that doesn't work, maybe there's another work around.

If this is still being updated, any chance you could tone down their comment frequency a little after a while the constant speech bubbles in base gets annoying. Small thing i know but hey ho feedback.

The next thing to be added would be the ability to dismiss the merchants. Kind of counter-productive but I like giving players more options.

Nice work! I just made the mistake of hiring them a little too close to morning, however, and then watched all the guards fry during an ill-advised shortcut through Venge. Poor bastards.

A fair point. I'll make sure the money they make is enough to restock... There is always the option to dismiss them... which will be worked in later.

As for plastic surgeons that can hang around your base, capital idea.

Nice. I mean, as long as the NPC has the right package (mercenary style dialogue package), any NPC (neutral/ally) can be given a base guard contract. I wonder what else you can do - hire a plastic surgeon - Any type of merchant really... but the only thing to keep in mind is that their stock isn't going to refresh like a shop.... and once their funds run out, that's it - unless you've got custom variables for that (aka, merchant has more cats than the default merchant has: +- 25,000.)

Nomads. And its because I do not know how to replenish the numbers of animals in their party. Also, if you live near Nomad territory, they'll bother you with beast trading anyway.

what u mean not adding beast merchant, we dont buy any animal from them, just have tho animal running around ur base defending you and you dont even have to feed them is so pog, it make the area look more alive

Now that you mention it, anyone know good mod to increase number of wandering animal party? My base in middle of desert and it really rare to get some pack beast to run by, it feel so lonely, also i need them for meat

Note that animals do not restock. So not adding a beast merchant because that would be silly. I am adding a crossbow seller though.

Thank Pix for let me know of such mod, and it good to hear that Warframe still getting new stuff later

The Better mercenary contracts mod is good, but look like doesnt affect this mod, so it would be great if you can make both vanilla and this mod mercenary merchant have that forever option, that help shorten the mod list

I saw lot of good mod came out from you lately, that very pog, but i do hope warframe mod still gonna get more update too

This also make me wonder if it possible to make another mod that allow you to hire mercenary forever with ton of money? I hate going outside and rehire them again every 3 day
