perhaps you are on RCS mode? if you press 4 you enter RCS mode which switches you to controlling the RCS thrusters

Larry, I will enjoy every aspect of this game, from Search and Rescue to flying to the moon. And I will just hope that the devs learnt something from the entire situation and won't break all the stuff again.
