@kmdool98: Unfortunately it's a feature not a bug. I had to set the opacity of all Amarr textures to invisible to make the ships and stations look like they actually do in game. That's the reason why you don't have a proper preview on the buttons in the ship designer and during the empire creation.

the models for the ships are blacked out or missing when selecting the ship set when creating an empire and in the fleet manager tab when in game. not like the models themselves but the small portraits of the ships when selecting them.

@T-82: Thanks for the heads-up about the new defensive station – I’ll look into it. I still have to figure out how to implement the Deep Space Citadel properly without owning the DLC.

I notice you said you've moved on from stellaris, so i wanted to know if you have any intention of updating this mod for 4.0 (currently the shipset is borked and shows as a biological shipset).

i agree i've grown to dislike NSC because it just kept adding new features rather than isolating them to submods, its lost its identity

@Pater Toast: the problem with tha mod is that it needs the NSC mod. And I hate that mod. I see no need for it. And the few mods available with EVE shipsets, there is only one that was recently updated: the mod Lost Eve Galaxy. And I don't know if any of the other mods still work.

@paulo: I created the Amarr mod because I loved the style of their ships and wanted to bring them into Stellaris. I don’t feel the same way about the other EVE factions. However, I think there's a really good mod that addresses this issue.

@Roland: Since I've never played with NSC, there was no reason to create a submod for it. While adding models to NSC wouldn't be a big deal, implementing the locators of sections and weapons for all ships isn't something I'm willing to take on, especially since I no longer play Stellaris.

Needs NSC, all SHIPSETS should just support NSC. They look great but I am afraid if it wont work.

@soulreaper12165: Thanks for the feedback. In order to place the weapon locators correctly, I had to add different ship types to the existing ship classes - for example battleship_2 (for the Apocalypse design) and battleship_3 (for the Abaddon design). So if you use mods that add new components to the ship types, they will only affect the existing ship types (e.g. battleship), but not the ones I added in this mod (e.g. battleship_2, etc).

First i want to say great mod, i love the Amarr ship aesthetic and its amazing you added the mega structures and weapon placements on the ships. i just wanted to report an issue i may have found with mods that add extra ship component, it appears you cant put them onto the different skins for example i can add a reactor from extra ship components mod to the Armageddon but if i create a new ship to use the Apocalypse model i can only add vanilla reactors to it the modded components are not visible and it is only for those components like reactors and engines i can still add weapons from those mods and armor and shields.

The work that went into this mod is huge. All megastructures were adapted to the design. Weapons are visible and logically placed. Bravo!

Only the Ringworld has the usual habitat problem (graphic)

Have an issue with ship preview windows. Nothing is shown there, might be a bug either of this or UI overhaul dynamic. but please take look. Same is happening in the fleet info views - no models.
