I hate to say it, but this skin doesn't work anymore.
balls 14 Feb, 2016 @ 8:13pm
Probably not.
Defcon Zero 18 Oct, 2015 @ 7:51pm

Linkspanda 8 Dec, 2014 @ 6:46pm
Dude this skin is sick, keep up the good work man.
01000101  [author] 12 Sep, 2014 @ 8:39am
Hmmm, I may ask the author about that, then. Thansk for the tip.
B00MSLANG 11 Sep, 2014 @ 10:17pm
Don't sweat it, you are already doing an amazing job! And don't forget school in the proces!

"M9 Equalizer" in Workshop has some wear and tear and is talking about using the "sefium" option to make this in the proces?
01000101  [author] 11 Sep, 2014 @ 3:57pm
If you want the number 77, then it'll be done :D
And I'll try my best on the wear, but yeah, no promises on the inclusion of it c: I'll try my best though!
B00MSLANG 11 Sep, 2014 @ 2:39pm
#77 ?
Funny that you use/have the same picture as a reference, cause I just picked it up 5 mins before my post ;)

I fully understand about leaving the wear out.
01000101  [author] 11 Sep, 2014 @ 1:42pm
Hmm, I'll see if I can go for the number on the grip, though unless sepcified, I'll just make up a random number :p
Also, I have that exact picture as a reference picture for realistic wear on the gun, quite funny IMO. But as far as creating realistic weathering, that'll take some time, mostly because I'm not exactly TOO adept on my process for creating such wear.
B00MSLANG 11 Sep, 2014 @ 1:31pm
I'm verry curious!
So your are planning: the snowman sight, rubber grips with Beretta logo...
You know what also would be great? Putting a number on the grip (wrote down with a marker. this one is white, but most are tested by USMC, so they are light blue), like they do in real life during trails of a new gun or when guns are upgraded.
Here you can fine a pic:
http://blog.cheaperthandirt.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/worn-out-beretta-large.jpg

Extra abuse on the gun would also be great...but hey I don't know your timeschedule ;)
01000101  [author] 11 Sep, 2014 @ 11:57am
It's going well, haven't had as much time as I would like to work on it, but it's comign alogn very nicely IMO c:
B00MSLANG 10 Sep, 2014 @ 10:22pm
So how is the build progression?
B00MSLANG 6 Sep, 2014 @ 2:38pm
Ok your call...like to see it in dropbox soon ;)
01000101  [author] 6 Sep, 2014 @ 1:13pm
Errr, *demand, not damnd :p
01000101  [author] 6 Sep, 2014 @ 1:13pm
Well, it seems to be just you who wants it so I don't really have a reason to release it unless the damnd is great enough :p
B00MSLANG 6 Sep, 2014 @ 11:32am
Rubber grips with "original beretta logo as the current wooden one? That would be great! You'r e the best! But why not share it with the rest of the world?
01000101  [author] 6 Sep, 2014 @ 10:47am
It's definitely interesting, and I will use it + the rubber grips, but I don't think it'll be a whole new skin on ther workshop, just a "custom" skin for one of my subscribers. I'll just give you the packaged .vpk files on Dropbox, and you can have the skin you want c:
B00MSLANG 6 Sep, 2014 @ 10:13am
Agreed. SIG SAUER also uses a simular sight for their military contracts for quicker target acquiring:

So are you thinking of making the snowman style on the upcomming Beretta with Rubber grips?
01000101  [author] 6 Sep, 2014 @ 8:40am
Thanks for the reference pictures, much appreciated. I have to say, I have never seen an iron sight configuration like the snowman style, looks interesting compared to the standard 3-dot system most handguns employ.
B00MSLANG 6 Sep, 2014 @ 2:30am
I send the previous page, because I use the M9 'snowman' style sights myself and find that these are very easy for target acquiring.
B00MSLANG 5 Sep, 2014 @ 11:09pm
It would be realy wonderful if you would be able/willing to make the M9 instead of the 92fs. Here is a link, that shows a few diferences (mainly the sights):

01000101  [author] 5 Sep, 2014 @ 3:12pm
Thanks for the understanding mate ;D
B00MSLANG 5 Sep, 2014 @ 2:43pm
Just send my invite. And please take your time, cause this is just a (great) game, but your future is so much more important!
01000101  [author] 5 Sep, 2014 @ 2:25pm
Send me a friend invite and give me a day or two to work on it, I'm currently in college, so I might get bogged down in homework and etc xD
B00MSLANG 5 Sep, 2014 @ 1:05pm
I Agree that the wood looks great! Just does not fit the game/setting as well as I would on a range.
Would be great if you are willing to make this "rubber" grip, of course with the beretta signature untouched :)
01000101  [author] 5 Sep, 2014 @ 9:51am
Oh, Well I for one like the aesthetic and charm that wood can bring to a weapon, a kind of mashing of new and old to reach a symbiosis of the ages and etc.

If you want, I can make a "rubber" grip skin for you, and just put it in a dropbox or w/e and you can get it there.
B00MSLANG 5 Sep, 2014 @ 9:49am
Wooden grips are what I mean with "outdated"...rubber grips?
01000101  [author] 5 Sep, 2014 @ 8:45am
Can you explain what you mean by "outdated"? Not sure if I understand what you mean :x

And it's a possibility, though I probably wouldn't make it a whole new skin if only a singular person wanted it in a slightly different style.
B00MSLANG 5 Sep, 2014 @ 3:50am
Very nice indeed! Can you also make one with rubber grips? This one come out a little outdated ingame
Cyteak 3 Sep, 2014 @ 3:51am
Looks pretty nice, keep up the good work.
01000101  [author] 2 Sep, 2014 @ 3:31pm
Recently did a "custom" skin for one of my subs, hows it look?

01000101  [author] 31 Aug, 2014 @ 9:04am
Great to hear, thanks.
Cyteak 31 Aug, 2014 @ 6:36am
@Workshop Yeah, it most likely works fine in the sun.
01000101  [author] 30 Aug, 2014 @ 5:21pm
Also any time, glad to see people enjoiyng my 1st skin :D
01000101  [author] 30 Aug, 2014 @ 5:21pm
Can this finish be considered blued? I was just trying to replicate minor wear, whilst keeping the gun a nice dark gray/black.
Jimmy 30 Aug, 2014 @ 5:02pm
Haha thanks for the blued/wood setup.
01000101  [author] 30 Aug, 2014 @ 2:31pm
Ah, excuse me, I did not realize the finer aspects of a silver-looking finish, my apologies ;D
Jimmy 30 Aug, 2014 @ 2:25pm
Matte nickel my friend :)
01000101  [author] 30 Aug, 2014 @ 1:48pm
@Jimmy I was thinking about a silver finish, but I wanted to stay true to the realism aspect of Insurgency. There are some nice Silver M9's on the workshop, though.
Jimmy 30 Aug, 2014 @ 12:43pm
INOX version would be gangster.
01000101  [author] 30 Aug, 2014 @ 12:32pm
@Lieutenant I was going for more of the vanilla look, just with dark wood grips and a bit of realistic wear, so most of the original factory colour would still be applied. Thanks for the view, I myself have used Panj as testing, so I don't know how well it fares on other maps. On a bright map like Market, I hope the dark blends out with the brighter day.
Cyteak 30 Aug, 2014 @ 12:21pm
It's a really dark skin, but other than that, perfect. 9.5/10
01000101  [author] 30 Aug, 2014 @ 10:11am
Add me on Steam and I'll get to work on it as soon as I am able to, gotta get all my college stuff done first :x
🐺~Wolfie~🐺 30 Aug, 2014 @ 9:59am
Hmh! I perfectly know all about the Beretta, after all I'm Italian! Anyway, if you can do that for me, you are surely my savior! I hate that default logo instead of the original one (On the default model of course) so yeah! I would really appreacite it :3
01000101  [author] 30 Aug, 2014 @ 7:49am
@3lackRose That logo is what Beretta puts on their M9's, so I thought it would be a fitting touch to it :p
As far as a black grip, that wouldn't take long, but that's not really my "vision", or what I had in mind. I'd be happy to keep the grip the same colour as in vanilla and send it to you personally, but as far as a whole new skin on the workshop? Porbably not :p
🐺~Wolfie~🐺 30 Aug, 2014 @ 1:33am
Well done! The logo of the beretta is simply awesome! Also, can you make a version with a black grip?
01000101  [author] 26 Aug, 2014 @ 11:54am
Thank you c:
