oh ok I tested it with a linear version which capped out at around 20k RPS in hours that I dont recall but the glitch blinking RPS reached 10k rps in a short period of time but I ran out of time to test further im running longer test tomorrow

@j@ ahh yeah, the blinking is a glitch and allows you to go beyond what a generator can do on its own. I like using the blinking to spool up the flywheel quicker just to save time. The blinking will give you issues if you use the rps output for props, wheels or tracks.

Also your blinking RPS Reactor is what made mine possible thank you

@thechort I have made a 1000KW Nuclear Reactor and I just uploaded it to the workshop

@J@ Good job! I'm glad you figured it out! I couldn't care less if you copied it and added it to something. The point of uploading to the workshop is to allow others to use the things you make.

Upload your generator, I'd love to check it out!

@thechort thank you for making this creation it has helped me duratically i copied non of your conent but only uour layout kinda and I made a reactor that generates 235KW

never mind i figured it out

@J@ Reactor heats boiler.
Boiler on logic = (Boiler Temp<110)&(Boiler Pressure<8) activates boiler coolant pumps.
Boiler Pressure>0.05 activates turbine/condenser pumps/radiator.
The regular clutch connected to the generator is set to 0.45 to allow clutch slip.
The Flywheel front 5x5 Clutch blinks on and off until the flywheel reaches 545 rps or uses the logic of clamp(x/545,0.05,1), where x=Flywheel RPS, for the non-blinking version.

The key to getting a lot of power out of steam turbines is making sure the flow rate through the turbine is 3600L/s

care to explain on how it works? because I don't understand the logic side of it

Tinkering the reactor right now to make a slightly more compact variant of the yellow version to fit in the boat. Some issues of power loss due to a much more complex pipe network, but it should work eventually.

Looks awesome, thanks for the hard work!
