Any chance to just use the default silenced sounds instead of the ones from the other mod? I really dont like those revised sounds they are way too loud, but I would love to use this mod as it actually works with all the VFE guns.

Pistol silencers do not change the sound in any way, but on rifles they work like clockwork and the sound of gunshots: my respect :)

Heyo, dumb question as looking through the silencers caliber, i guess there is not (at least not yet) compatibility with VFE post '93 guns? Like P90 and such, i'm just looking to have silencers to those guns too

The silencers still does the noise but it's reduced, it's not that the gunshots are completely silent. If you hear more noises it's probably some kind with the mod you have.

When I put the silencer on, it makes more noise. When I shoot with a rifle, the zombies still notice. It has no effect.

Also, can you please place all the NS_items "DisplayName=" into translation folder too? Me and anyone else who will translate this mod will be very grateful to you.

I noticed when weapons fire with the attachment on, the game sends out log files or something of the like. Wondering if this mod is fine to use in big 100+ player servers, might cause lag without too many silenced weapons firing. Thanks in advance and love the mod in singeplayer.

Not really, actual mod Weapon Sound Expansions has no Weapon Sound Only - For Addons inside of it, just Weapon Sound Expansions. So while trying to turn it on during single player it's not possible, but I found the older version of this mod on the other website and both folders were in it. So you can double check it but Im sure this 1 is missing right now in your mod. Anyway, this mod works fine on the online servers, but for players for single players the folder is missing so you can fix it :)

that mod did not get an update for a very long time. I think the problem is from your side.

ok I found the problem, there's no Weapon Sound Only - For Addons folder in the Weapon Sound Expansions. I had to download from another site the older version to find it inside, the latest version is lack of it inside so there's no way to turn on the mod in the game for single player!

The problem is I cant turn this mod on in my single player, this mod is saying only sound expansion is required to mod Nihilist's Silencers. But in the game when Im trying to turn it on it shows Missing mod - Weapon Sound Only - For Addons (which is not in the mod list after downloading the Weapon Sound Expansion mod). Any solutions?

I will say, I'm not getting any sound out of a suppressed bizon from vfe stalker, both with and without the overwrite sounds setting. Could there be an incompatiblity?

Works great, even in a heavily modded server. It also works with Totally nato pack, though they don't have the model for the suppressor on the gun. Can we get 762x39 and 5.45x39 suppressors?

I say still because in the patch notes it reads 'fixed duplicate metalworking tab' :(

I am still getting the duplicate metalworking tab and silencers are craftable if you 'filter all" but it does not show up in any category.
Has anyone had this issue or know of a way to fix it?

@Sideroht Correct me if I'm wrong but you need to activate the mod in the 'Mods' selection on the main menu in order to get the sandbox settings on a hosted world. Only adding it to the hosted world will add the mod but you will not have the sandbox settings available.

I have a local server and it doesn't let me modify the % of effectiveness, I don't even get the tab like for example... "world" or "weather" in sandbox ;w;"

I am afraid there is no way to reduce it as far as I know... and since I don't own these sounds, I cant just reduce their volumes and upload them back to workshop.

Hypothetically, one manual solution from user perspective would be to writing a python script to load each sound files within "Sound Weapon Expansions" and then applying adjustments with libraries and saving them.

Make sure to only enable "Weapon Sound Only - For Addons" with "Nihilist's silencers". Other than this, are you using another weapon mod?

I started a server with some friends, having both mods enabled ( weapon sound expansion ) and the nihilist`s silencers, the second I equip a weapon with a silencer an error message appears, the first shoot is silenced, after that, the silencers do not work anymore, both sound and weapon sound suppression effect. Does anoybody know a solution to this ? I have tried to disable the mod as recommended but it didnt work.

Hello! Great mod, sorry if this was mentioned before, but for some reason the 9mm silencer i crafted doesnt show up in my Uzi after being attached, it is invisible, im using VFE.
