Finally got around to playing this civ, btw the leader name is misspelled (GONCLAVES instead of GONCALVES) in ArtDefines.sql, so there's no peace/war music

yaaaaay my home country finnaly featured! Is funny that our state flag still features "republic" on it, haha

Its a bit surprising tho having an naval unique since navy was never a proper strenght for the farrapos, but their characteristics are very fitting for the history of the single 2 vessels they produced... and as for the other unique is interesting the choice of the lanceiros, wich were slaves recruited from the slavist Imperial Brazil at the promise of freedom in the anti-slavist Rio Grande Republic, but got betrayed at the Massacre dos Porongos, a shameful episode of our history.

Very nice, always thought they could make a good civ
