1) Arm the escape pod by pressing "MASTER ALARM" in captains bridge (You need a captain or their ID)
2) Enter the escape pod and close the hatch afterwards
3) Press "LAUNCH POD" button

Yeah, Triumphant is a T3. I recently began design and armament overhaul of Janczar and nerfed it to T2. I have also changed her logs, but steam might have not updated her discriptnion for some reason. I gotta check it out later today.

If I may ask, is this submarine an actual tier 3? Because for some reason, the Jancar is labeled a tier 3 on the mod page, but ingame its actually a tier 2. Just curious :)

If we use the escape pod and hit the button to "dock" when swimming to the station manuallly will the sub respawn next mission on campaign mode

Auto generated em, fixed the biggest problems manually, also manually added the waypoints on docking hatches, so bots can enter stations easely

Took a look under the hood. Did you auto gen these waypoints? Its like 90% serviceable but there are those clear autogen errors here and there. You can kinda tell.

Cool submarine. Can you release the escape pod files too so I can check the waypoints? Also I wanted to make it so that the escape pod is technically the main submarine and the rest of the entire thing is technically a drone. Why do this? So that when my crew are all faffing about I can hit my two key self destruct system and go "Fuck this I'm out LMAO"

dont get me wrong I love actually seeing fires, everything you said is correct, but it seems with a 10 crew of bots It really is every 5-7 mins with fires if you have no upgrades im assuming its because the bots cant prioritize the 2 main line juc boxes. (which seem to be a little TOO needy) or its because reactor running on auto (again due to bots) might not be effcient enough with no upgrades. With a player crew and someone manning the reactor all these problems may go away I havent tested. (main line boxes might still be needy if no one wants to manual the reactor someone might need to play their whole game fixing 2 juctions till we get upgades)

Just my inital thoughts and was looking to see if you or anyone had input on rate of fires

I wouldnt say every 7 minutes, I tested this submarine and finished a campaign with it. I optimised the electrical grid to the point, where fires and overloading are a problem if you don't keep junctions maintained. I just thought one day, that it is almost impossible in vanilla subs to cause a overload fire. Thats it tbh. New update might have changed the way junction boxes overload.

@Matt92099 no, the distress call just informs the Intrepid, that main sub is in danger (If the respawn shuttle spawned ofc) Also, Triumphant is a tier III submarine with extense room for upgrades, just order enhanced junction resistors in stations shipyard.

also tried the sub in a bot campaign and it seems the small junction room right of the reactor sets on fire every 2 mins makes it impossible to use

@Matt92099 Actually, the only purpose of the escape pod is to detach with a crew inside and get them as far away from the sub as possible thank to its buoyancy. It does not have nay engine nor it will not get the crew to the outpost. Its is design as simplistic as possible and its purpose is to stick to the cave celing and wait for the respawn shuttle (Intrepid) to save the crew, escort it to the Triumphant and fight off anything that caused the crew to abandon ship. It might seem kinda pointless, but I thought it was a cool and realistic concept, so I did it anyway.

Yo Matt A way To do it would be Get a nav Terminal get a small engine and pump and hook them up tho power need would be high so i suggest making the battery or whatever powers it better

Basically, the escape pod can dock and undock only when the pods hatch is closed. I am still working on making the workshop description bigger and more clear for the user along with manual on how to use certain installations. In case of the distress call however, I have to check it twice I guess. It should however reset after a level.

I discovered that even if you physically move the pod into it's slot there appears to be no way to actually engage the docking port from the submarine itself unfortunately! We expected the submarine pod docking port to maybe have a 30 second delay after launching where it'll want to reconnect to things or something. While I do like the idea of replacing the pod after it's launched it did feel a bit strange when it was just *right there* and our submarine hatch was bouncing off of it instead of docking.

My group and I also discovered that it seems like there's no way to manually disable the distress call function after it's been entered into the console? Or does it reset after a level?

Otherwise this thing is super fun! It's rare to see a submarine that feels like a submarine in this game, something a interesting interior design and strong layout that's not extremely cluttered.

@The Weather Man thank you for the kind words! Mean a lot to me. Utilised Escape pod can be replaced in the station's shipyard, you have to ask the upgrades and repairs guy. Also, it is possible to recollect the pod manually, but it needs a bit of mechanical mumbo jumbo. I did it once, by turning the pump off, flooding the pod and sinking it directly into the sail, where the dock is.

Oh wow this sub is one of the best feeling ones to play I've seen in a long time!

Question: is it possible to recollect the escape pod once it's been launched? it appears to not want to automatically or manually have the ability to reconnect to the triumphant after it's been launched.
