I know everyone has been waiting and thank you for sticking with it. You must not run this old version and the new version together. But if you remove the old one and add the new one, it will pick up where the old one leaves off.
Hoping you guys are ready to run this when it hits. Looking to see what can be elevated to the next level after the MP release.
The version we are testing right now holds 500 songs. So, yeah pretty much. You can queue up what you want or shuffle the list.
I don't think anything nearby, but the next release will have the recipe. We tested it last night. a boombox, a record player, 10 electronic scrap, some electrical wire, a metal sheet, 4 screws, and a screwdriver right now to make it. electrical 4 needed but no magazine required.
I know, so exciting! In the meantime, True Music Radio might satisfy the need in a car or when I walk around with headphones on.
Thank you, and yes reports are that players have been able to use them side by side.
Additionally, I wasn’t aware that TSAR mods could be used alongside Lifestyle mods. That’s good to know!
I did not make the True Music mod. But the creator of that mod made it specifically so that people could have their music in the game. I would expect you could do the same. They have instructions on how to make a music mod from the True Music mod page. I wish you luck!
Sorry, never been good at monetizing anything. And this has been a lot of work with collaboration that I can't possibly take credit for...
I hate to count my chickens before they hatch. The eggs keep getting turned and expect chicks soon... I have seen part of it working. Burryaga has cleaned up my code and is adding much more control to it... Possibly right clicking on a tape or record to make it play... He's a wizard!
how to spawn it"
No item to spawn, you generally need to find them in the world. Look in bars and the occasional home garage. One I know is at a 3 car garage in Lousiville on the west side on the river.
That being said, once the MP is hammer out a bit the jukeboxes will have a creation recipe option. By hacking up a boombox and record player you'll be able to make one.
how to spawn it
Saw the work done so far yesterday, mind blown... Audio was syncing in MP... I don't think there will ever be a perfect solution unless the vanilla game gets an API for it but smoke and mirrors go pretty far.
I'm not an artist but anyone could create a mod that reskins the boombox itself.
I use these and Ultimate has a few versions now. This should work with any TrueMusic songlist.

Either way, it's a great addition.
Got a surprise coming as we wait for the MP version to get implemented... I will make sure I post it here, it's another mod that will play music.
