Question, so with Webknight's zombies and creatures i've noticed that it never spawns any of the larger boss or miniboss units. Is there a setting or something that I need to be changing?

"Alienz" AI seem rather non-aggressive in DHO. Despite having night-vision built-in, only units carrying extremely heavy weapons like machine guns seem capable or willing to fight back against players, and all others will just stand there and take getting shot or captured.

@kaoschrysor21 Can you tell me which mods you're running? No one else has reported an issue like that, so it could be a mod issue

The mission is broken for me, there's a random explosion whenever I spawn in, and the helis don't work

This absolutely rules. I would venture to say that if pre-mission player faction select were added in a la DRO, it would be a perfect scenario. Even without that, though, access to the arsenal and a bit of creative Zeus-ing goes a long way. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this, and I'll be playing it plenty in the meantime!

@Loophole Yeah, you must have at least one modpack loaded for it to spawn enemies. Alienz Zetaborn are listed just after Foes and Allies in the list of supported mods above (Though it appears I accidentally typoed it to Aliensz Zetaborn!)

Ah hah - figured it out; they are called "Foes and Allies Aliens" in the list; I didn't twig to it the first two times! Seems that selecting something from the mod list is mandatory, otherwise it doesn't generate a mission? that wasn't initially apparent, but I'll give it a go now!

Hmm, should the mission work with just the IceBreakr "Alienz" mod (not the full FAP pack)? I didn't see Alienz listed in the mod selection settings in the mission, though it listed other mods (though I don't have them installed).

New version for Halloween 2024 is OUT! This major update includes new support for the FAP Zetaborn Alienz mod, TTS Emissions (Blowout) mod, as well as 3 new types of ‘spook events’ and 8 more spooky sounds to creep you out on mission! More importantly, this mission was totally refactored with a new function system which results in a much more stable mission and serious performance improvements. There were also small bugfixes and quality-of-life additions added. See the scenario changelog a complete list of updates and changes and have a Happy Halloween!

@月挣零 The commander can use Zeus to place down AI troops to support you and CDF/AAF equipment should be available for use in the arsenal.

I will look into faction selection after a UI overhaul I am currently working on. Thank you for the feedback

Great mods and creative idea! But please add faction selection function and AI availability for multiplayer mode, just like Dynamic Recon Ops. For example, my friends and I want to encounter these supernatural events as AAF or CDF, and there are also several AI teammates who can provide some support. (Machine translation may not be accurate, please forgive me)

FAP Aliens are actually released separately from the rest of FAP under the title of Alienz; could maybe swap mods to that if it's only the aliens you're using.

Fuckin' love this mod. Great way to spend a few hours with friends. Would recommend, with one caveat; whenever shooting something in this mission, be sure to add +P for plenty. You can never drop enough ammo on one of these things; there was a flaming skeleton my door gunner dumped an entire Ghosthawk's minigun ammo supply into and the fucker wouldn't go down.

Good mission. Looking forward to updates.

I'm encountering an issue where the Enhanced Arsenal mod does not work and makes it where I can no longer use the arsenal (I can access the arsenal but cant click on anything). I have tested and it only happens on this scenario. Removing enhanced arsenal does fix the issue but wanted to see if this was a known issue or possibly something that can be fixed if you are still working on this.

Just uploaded a major new update for 0.14 that adds in several requested features. This is a summary of the changes and additions with the full changelog in the mission Steam Workshop "Change Notes" section:

Multiple Objectives: DHO can now spawn multiple objectives per play session, from 1 to 4, or randomize the number within the MP mission parameters. For SP, the number of missions is always randomized from 1-3

Enemy Faction Selection: The enemy factions are now selectable in two different ways: The first is a “theme” category that will select enemy units from the loaded mods that are relevant to the theme. The second way is by selecting the specific mods to load yourself with the bottom three drop downs (follow the listed instructions for it to work!).

Enemies No Longer Fight: Added functionality so they now consider themselves friends and no longer fight each other. HUGE shout out to Drongo and DevourerKing for helping me to get these units playing nicely!

There is definitively interest in Livonia :) Like Turtle says, it suits the zombie/horror theme perfectly.

But what's more important: it would be absolutely killer if we were able to choose our own squad as a single player so that we can run a non-2035 squad, e.g. RHS or even a Cold War squad with very limited night vision capabilities. So if the mod was able to detect at least one of the respective infantry squads of a faction (preferably the spec ops one) just like DRO, that'd be awesome!

My friend and I were playing the mission, but the task was placed on a small strip of land that was a quarter submerged in water. Anyways, the task was to eliminate all hostiles, but some of them spawned underneath the rocks. Airstrikes, Pawnee rockets, satchels, explosive charges.. nothing worked.

Similar comments over at WebKnight's Zombies and Creatures seem to indicate that could be the cause of FPS drop.

Yea we tried Altis and Stratis, same thing. When everyone joined we did a restart and at first it was normal then we all slowly dipped to 1 fps. Mods are the pretty typical Ace and RHS factions stuff.

Pretty intense fps drop after a player joins on dedicated server. When a third player joins the fps drops even further. I can barely get into the menu to see my fps. I was first in, now I'm stuck at 1fps (feels like less), second guy in is around 15 fps, third guy in is at a normal 45-50 fps. I assume when the fourth joins we'll all lose about half our fps.

@Master Chief I spoke too soon! Apparently a cba dependency slipped in somehow? I'll get that corrected ASAP, there should be no need for CBA in this map (though the supporting mods will all need it, so its kind of a moot point)

@Shifty2950 I might have misunderstood. You can dress/use weapons from any faction in the Arsenal. If you're playing SP, you can also do the same to your friendly AI. There's no separation oF specific factions on the friendly side

@Psycool(싸이쿨) The mission is playable on a dedicated server, but does not support HC at this time. I can confirm it functions on a dedicated server normally, however. I've never used headless clients, but your question has me investigating how I can include them in an upcoming update.
