I don't know when I might get back to modding. I have another project halfway done which I've had to abandon for months now as I've been busy with life/work. But if you share a reference I could keep it in the back of my mind for when I do. Are you talking about the Mat '54 livery?

That said, you're welcome to make a skin yourself if you can. I've put the original UV wire frames in the mod folder in case anyone wants to give it a go. I don't want to make any promises as it can be quite time intensive and I'm busy with other things that have to take priority.

Do you make extra livery's? For example one in the old NS green/red livery?

Continuing from the below:

If that doesn't do it for you, there are also more specific mods where you can change numbers more precisely, or you could change the capacity numbers of this mod to your liking from the downloaded .mdl file after you've subscribed to it.
TimothyS  [author] 14 Dec, 2023 @ 6:44am
Psyclone, fair question. There is logic behind that:

The passenger number in the game for vanilla vehicles is cut to 25% of reality. That's a game mechanics choice from the developer.
Half of real capacity, as with this mod, is already doubling that. If I would have gone with real numbers, this mod would stand out like crazy from the rest of the game's trains with regards to passenger capacity but also running costs.
Then, most people use a capacity doubling mod as well, myself included, so that the passenger numbers are accurate: half capacity x2 is real capacity. At the same time vanilla vehicles are also doubled in capacity.
Opting for half capacity seems to be the common theme in the modding community and I decided to simply go along with that so that my mod is comparable to other mods created by the modding community.

So, if you were to use this mod, and also make use of that passenger capacity doubling mod, you'd have accurate numbers.

Why would you half the passenger numbers...???

Elje0ett I have only been able to find a series of schematics of the single deck versions of the Coradia trains. The link below will immediately download a .pdf of them (won't open a page, but go straight into your downloads folder).

Hoe is dit verschillend met de mod die oppie heeft gemaakt

Nono, I get that you don't want to model the whole thing but since you were able to get the blueprints for the single level one do you also have access to the double decker version, alstom coradia nordic and alstom coradia continental (1st type) so that someone else can do it without having to find the blueprints?
A Guy Called Pi 31 Oct, 2023 @ 7:48am
hey @Jesporo? is this ICNG model not yours?? i'm a little confused here, it was my understanding that this model is your work and your project. Now it appears to have been uploaded by someone else entirely.
A Guy Called Pi 31 Oct, 2023 @ 6:15am
anyway.....much better than those ugly Italian ones we got earlier. looking forward to new updates & liveries.
Jesporo 31 Oct, 2023 @ 5:15am
Respect!!!! this train looks awesome! Great job!

Deetexys: I actually hated the design initially. But over time it's actually grown on me, and now I must say I'm into it. Some people absolutely hate the way the Koploper looks, but I love that design too. It's interesting how that works heh.

Elje0ett: It would still be quite a task as the double decker car would almost have to be made from scratch. Time saved would come from not having to remake the head of the train (the driver's cab) which looks identical. The doors on the double decker are double, which would need to be made, and the seating lay-out is completely different in both single and double deck cars. It's still easier to adapt the existing model, but it would still be a time-intensive job.
Deetexys 30 Oct, 2023 @ 10:48am
Ugh... gotta add this to my play, so to complete my collection... But they're sooo ugly TT_TT

Not your model, looks like a great recreation I mean the design in general.
I prefer my oldschool DDM pulled(or pushed) by a classic 1800 series.
Elan 30 Oct, 2023 @ 10:46am
We love you buddy! Thanks so much!
Elje0ett 30 Oct, 2023 @ 9:55am
But if you were able to find the blueprints for the one decked model do you also have the bluerpint for the second one so that if someone wants to make it at least has a quick way of getting it?
TimothyS  [author] 30 Oct, 2023 @ 9:12am
The double decker version looks significantly different, which would require significant modifications/additions/removals. I have no plans at the moment to do that.
That being said, and please request permission for this first, if someone wants to pick up my base models and adapt the models accordingly, I'm open to the idea.
TimothyS  [author] 30 Oct, 2023 @ 9:10am
Yes, the Factory Black version is what the ICNG train sets look like when they roll out of the factory in Poland. They are then transported to the Netherlands and are painted further here. Their front and doors are painted in Poland, interestingly.
Elje0ett 30 Oct, 2023 @ 8:10am
Since you've made this is it also possible to make the double decker version Alsom Coradia Stream HC too?
EiHowa 30 Oct, 2023 @ 8:07am
Wait, isn't the factory black the factory black version the version most of them were delivered in. Sorry, no need for other liveries and again, thank you so much.
EiHowa 30 Oct, 2023 @ 7:54am
Thank you very much. Would it be possible to do it for atleast one of the NS versions too? That would be very helpful. But again, thanks a lot for implenting this request so fast.
TimothyS  [author] 30 Oct, 2023 @ 7:51am
I just added in this requested "dead" version. I've called it "unpowered", and it only exists for the Factory Black variant. The pantographs are all down, it has no motor sound, but it has a rolling sounds when in motion. All door animations have been removed, there is no driver, no station labels nor any lights. Its max speed is kept at 200kph, but the power is almost nothing. I've tested hauling it with a loco, and that works like a charm :)
EiHowa 30 Oct, 2023 @ 5:37am
That sounds great, thank you
TimothyS  [author] 30 Oct, 2023 @ 3:52am
EiHowa - not yet, but it has been requested before too. It's on my list of things to add ;)
EiHowa 30 Oct, 2023 @ 2:59am
Is there any fake version without power? As these trains were often seen on their way to the netherlands, pulled by Railadventure, it would be interesting to be able to recreate these trains. But already an awesome mod, thanks for uploading.
Solar_0999 30 Oct, 2023 @ 12:24am
This is amazing, thank you so much!

Maar jij heeft het gemaakt TOP Bedankt TimothyS .

Great mod TimothyS, tnx for all your work :)
TimothyS  [author] 29 Oct, 2023 @ 2:15pm
I think I know what you mean - my Flow livery actually reflects that. There is a lip but it's much shorter. If you compare how far the black paint goes on one of my "regular" ICNGs and then compare against a Flow variant, you should see a marked difference
A Guy Called Pi 29 Oct, 2023 @ 2:12pm
one thing already to consider for an update -- you've given the Flow liveried train the same lip under the front window as for the traditional Intercity liveried one. In real life NS have removed this lip for the Flow version. A minor nitpick of course.
Thijmen de Groot 29 Oct, 2023 @ 2:03pm
Perfect!
TimothyS  [author] 29 Oct, 2023 @ 2:02pm
Thanks! Everyone's help on the TF Community forum is greatly appreciated. Some things about making these mods isn't that obvious and so the "pointers in the right direction" have been super helpful. Thanks :D
A Guy Called Pi 29 Oct, 2023 @ 1:54pm
awesome. It's been very cool to have seen you figure out the modding process and put this big project together. Glad to have helped you get started, and we're all grateful for the outcome! Now, onto the next project?

Cool,Thanks
