it wasn't *that* difficult it was just muscle memory and not having seen certain attacks before that messed me up (and the whole softlock thing but that was a problem on my end, not the mod's fault)
though i have to say, knowing the sources of roland's attacks really does make this a thousand times worse. didn't know he was half angel or an exorcist before this mod, so very interesting lore.
someone else might have been targeting the enemy that died, then tried to target the orb or something?
that's just my idea though, could be completely wrong, have no actual clue. so might not be an issue with this mod itself, but a rare compatibility issue with a new mod.

earth rumbling decapitation can easily handle the few moves that serene movement can't
sealed lightning sword flash is one of the strongest economy pages ever made
serene demon sword has versatility you can either use it to beat a page or you can use it as economy that buffs your next move
death sword chaos star is the best page for damage especially when buffed by lightning sword flash, serene demon sword, or all of roland's warriors charge
it's usually a waste to use it against heathcliff phase shadow the hedgehog since its greatest asset is entirely nullified
i have used it to reduce the gunship oblivion's charge sometimes but i also don't really recommend this
you count the amount of dice you are hitting it with so it ends up as an odd number by the end of the scene
it doesn't matter what you hit it with since it has immunes and 10000 hp so typically you use economy pages to accomplish this
typically if you have charms left over you want to seal something from roland since his moves are the most versatile but light has just like ridiculous effects on some pages like all of roland's warriors charge
the ego pages are a little weird but they can be good if you have a charm left over and seal a heathcliff
hellbullet hailstorm is good generic damage
technically dark-reflecting mirror allows you to just ignore one move from shadow the hedgehog but roland's serene movement also does this (mostly) and is economy so
Wait a goddamn moment am i supposed to seal the zwei's when they use their funny calming melody? i feel DUMB (was it written somewhere? i know light tells you but...i did not put 2 and 2 together until like 2 days later).
In less scrubby note, i just played and beat the green hammer! Kudos for that one, i really loved it! as i do this one, even if i am suffering from Pmoon-fanitis

As for the tips, thanks a lot for them! i did rage a bit because of me skill issuing like 3 times in a row (one right before the phase transition (literally 1 hp lamo) and the other after i killed one heathcliff)
I mostly meant the combos when you are told to Seal a specific body part or you ultraexplode and THEN he uses that body part like 5 times (the one with the arms fucked me over more than i can count xD)
I will defintiely have to abuse the zwei strat though, that makes it a bit more doable...Tho i do wish i could get a third xD
my main issue is that i need to use obligatory chocolate to not waste lives, but then they get murked...
Is there a way to get calming melody off consistently? this is also another one of my issues of skill but i cant ever really...get that one fully, due to the zwei's passive giving power to it...

if you are having trouble with mixed arts the intended response is to ignore it but if you can't for some reason sealing arm rather than leg prevents it from ultrakilling you (it should unless some weird mod conflict) (just make sure he doesn't remove the charm with cursebreaker formation first)
in heathcliff phase you are supposed to clash with shadow with zwei guys and roland and use any speed dice remaining to focus on a heathcliff or hit the gunship oblivion
also if this was not obvious you can target your allies and yourself with charms too
nearly everything in this mod is there for a reason
you are intended to deal with rage by not sealing everything and also using calming melody to reduce rage (there is a bug where rage can go negative but i never fixed it and now it's part of the experience)
you get 5 lives since i was feeling generous and you can reasonably do it with just one
the zwei guys are immortal if you play them properly
as a tip they cannot die from the lose hp effect from one of their pages and its evade rolls a minimum value of 5 (because of your shield)
in addition they have obligatory chocolate which is a healing page that heals a decent bit of hp
also iirc, on clash tie, the effect still occurs! more minor but ANNOYING
i DO think that the stagger/life ammount is far too little too on phase 3, but i think that maybe having a third zwei (so they stop being useless on phase 3, holy shit they are always dead) and the live replenishing thing would go a very long way on making this more fun.
Ultimately another fix for this would be having some sort of checkpoint system (because dying when you are at the end suuccckks) but honestly i dont think it would be that needed if you were to adress the issues i have with it.
I am aware this is a complete meme mod but, cmon its fucking awesome and i think it deserves a little bit more polish! Great mod, needs a lil balance, wrote this because i got mad at the fucking helicopter expecting me to deal with shadow, the heathcliffs AND the goddamn helicopter...

I love it! its absolutely stupid and im all in for it! but the balance...annoys me...i really dont know what i am supposed to do to consistently survive on heathcliff phase! the main issue is the damn clash lose one, which is annoying but doable to survive...until you have to deal with the heathcliff phase's AOE guns and trying not to enrage shadow too much
This might 100% be skill issue, but i think that MAYBE adding a 3rd zwei officer for phase 3 would go WAYS on making this a more balanced experience...
I also dont like how punishing the mod is, you only have 5 lives and if you fuck up early you can just...get fucked for the rest of the fight...i think that maybe having the lives replenish on phase transition (up to the cap of 5 ofc) would be a good play...

So i'm assuming the counterplay is sealing something an upgraded page uses and letting it hit you as you seal {Legs}.
Anyhow this bossfight is actually sick even tho i'm lame!
it's [arm] [on clash lose] not [arm] [arm - on clash lose]
the former means the on clash lose effect will trigger no matter what while the latter means sealing arm will prevent it
this is the same logic behind calming melody being [arm] [on clash lose]
No clue at what incompatibly could cause it yet. so gotta do testing first.
every second of this mod was so fucking random and i didnt understand jackshit but thats the greatest part of it
