Understood, I just wanted to express my concerns. I do hope this map has some form of balance though. Even if the player is in a tough spot, at least show some sign of sympathy for the players.

the LBAR system in the map has unchanged unlock times besides bile, as for the tanks, that's genuinely bad luck, the map has a chance to spawn tanks on quite literally a RNG type system, you could have tanks instantly spawn when you start the map, or none for 10 minutes

This is a good map but... May I ask why it has to spawn two tanks? I mean this combined with the advanced ai I have makes this very unbalanced. I mean this map on it's own is okay but I don't like the fact that two tanks have to spawn since it could be very overwhelming and to top it all of it takes 10 or 20 seconds just to unlock a weapon. Let's Build a Rocket had less wait time than this. :alliedstar:

yea the issue is that tank spawns are completely random, there is a random timer for every special and the map just randomly chooses between each one, genuinely luck based RNG lmao

Thanks for the tip! But small complaint / Skill issue: But the tanks just spawn in, WAY too early. I think it's personally best to spawn one Tank max in the beginning, so that players have some time and breathing room, and don't put in too much tanks at once. Because, again, giving players time to organize and breath

yea looking at the timers and stuff thats setup for them, you probably just got really lucky with no tanks spawning, it randomly picks specials

yea the bot issue im hoping to just fix with making it where the stairs is just a ladder and the base of the rocket is the actual escape spot, or something similar to that, either that or try messing with more navmesh to get it properly working, but thats a whole nother thing to mess with

yeah i can understand that lol. map was still fun to play reguardless. just best not to do it with bots as they can't enter the rocket to escape unless you teleport them :3

the other specials have the issue of spawning too far and they just die, but tanks dont, it can be a gamble with how many tanks can spawn and at what times they can spawn, you can start the map and not even 10 seconds one can spawn, just a chance of luck, i will see what i can fiddle with the spawners just in case in a future update

ah i see. and yeah the tank issue is weird. in fact i think i only ever killed 4 tanks total. after that i was able to last in the map till around 35 minutes after i had build everything and then just gave up lol and escaped.

unless the tanks are maybe spawning too far and dying of rage?? i notice the commons spawn quite far away, so maybe that is a reason?

yea the "broken" specials are intentional, they dont even have special AI, they use the common infected AI, was added for shitpost-esque of the map, as for the tanks, odd, they are randomly chosen by the director on a random set timer, so no clue about that

Ohh wait, the SI changing color could be due to my "The Definitive Population V2 Fixed" mod i had enabled. that might have also caused the tanks to stop spawning maybe? but that mod only effects common and uncommon infected

map is quite good! however this might be a bug, not sure exactly what triggered it, but after a while, id say roughly around the 10-12 minute mark, Tanks just stopped spawning. like NO tanks would spawn past this time at all making the map insanely easy, beyond easy i would say.

and then when i got the notification that says "difficulty increased!" when Rocket was halfway, the special infected models changed color. Jockeys were green, Spitters were blue, and they lost all of their animations and only ever were in their "idle t pose" animation like from the Tumtara testing map

awesome to hear! thanks for playing this chaotic mess of a map! also glad to hear you didnt run into any issues, the only thing i had to fix with your version of the tech tree was the bile jar, it seemed it was just too far back after unlocking it, so i did a quick fix and mostly got it working again, which is why it may appear a bit crooked ingame, i also plan to credit you in the intro screen as well, just havent gotten around to it yet

the rocket was moved to the middle of the map, so you dont have to struggle with infected trying to kill you

Everything turns invisible after a while, so do zombies and players. I thought this was to challenge the player after a while, but it happened as soon as 2 minutes in. It first happened when i was playing on survival, i was on the last rocket upgrade then it happened. As I said, I thought it was a challenge but it happened again.

hope this map will be updated , how do you want we build rocket ? the plateform is so far away to build it and on rocket plateforme there is nothing to protect us no pannel for bile or molotov sincelry it s no sense dont take made i like build maps but would be fun with less diffcultty its impossible to build it

Same thing happened with completely no addons, everything goes invisible, when playing with a group, I rejoined and everything was fixed

it seems to be the game trying to make everything run smooth, due to crossing some sort of entity limit? this is very odd, only way to MAYBE fix this is to remove more of the spawns? only issue doing that is that it could make the map too easy to play, try verifying the game files and see if that fixes the invisible entity issue

as for the game chugging, thats because there are so many entities that the game is just flipping its shit, like i just stated, a possible way to prevent that is to remove spawns, but i dont want this map to completely turn into just a LBAR retexture
