I really wish all these awesome melee weapons were vanilla friendly. I really dont like royalty. and it sucks its a requirement. I just want vanilla cool weapons lol.

This would be a great set of weapons, except for the debuffs to speed/hit chance etc with most (if not all) of the weapons. Because of this I haven't used any of these weapons despite having this mod for ages. Sorry to the mod author, I'm not being ungrateful, but it's just personal preference. I use the vanilla monosword & zeushammer instead. Thanks anyway.

on the permit page for royalty it says theres a permit for the stellic plasma weapons that requires the archon title and i have a colonist with the title and a spare permit point but i cant get the permit (its red like the stuff that needs higher titles or other things unlocked first) is this a compatibility issue with vanilla factions expanded empire an issue with the mod or am i just stupid and missing something

I´m still getting this error:
Could not resolve cross-reference: No CombatExtended.AmmoSetDef named AmmoSet_Sawblades_Heat found to give to CombatExtended.CompProperties_AmmoUser CombatExtended.CompProperties_AmmoUser

The weapon seems to be working now, but has infinite ammo.

yep seems like it does break something pretty bad, I can't use the "spawn things" option in the debug mode after the last patch

The latest patch seems to have broken something with CE, i´m getting errors related to what looks like the Plasma Spiner´s ammo.

I don't mean the fake glow, I mean the whole weapon is unlit, unlike any other weapon in your pack. I haven't even looked in the DPS, but now I see that it's indeed half the original plasmasword damage for your big weapons. And it's worse for dealing with crowds. So, nice art, but using them is like shooting yourself in the knee, at least in CE.

@GVLT because it is a fake glow, actual glow grid will affect performance greatly. The Plasma Greatsword has higher DPS and AP than the Plasmasword and its Stab attack has even higher AP. The Cleaver has about the same DPS as the Plasmasword but much higher AP. Also the DPS in-game doesn't show the extra Flame Damage from the weapons which both Greatsword and Cleaver are much higher than Plasmasword (10 vs 13 for Greatsword Cut and 17 for Cleaver Cut)

Also, cooldown on big weapon is, well, big. Since melee damage is mostly made up of various modifier increasing melee damage you very much making your cleavers and greatswords redundand compared to original sword

Major Update:
- All arts redone in Vector (you can find old arts in Old Folder)
- Halberd now can hit 1 tile apart

Currently I have no plan for Original-theme stuff besides the Stellic Arsenal. I have plan to update the Plasma Pack with one new weapon and new vector arts and Crypto Pack should be coming soon. Also Im cooking up something for Exosuit and Warcasket.

Would you ever consider a heat blade weapon mod? Something that's industrial to spacer level and less power? Kind of like the heat axes from gundam or like super heated thick machete kind of blades?

the Prestige Stellic Plasmasword use 1.4 thingdef data. the 1.5 thingdef data doesnt work... i dont know why ..

Weird, I resubbed and it still shows they have 1 instead of 0.1 for the handles. I'm going to go ask in the CE Discord to see if it's just me and if there is some sort of conflict.

Should be fixed now, I also add Combat Extended to loadAfter so if anyone having trouble with CE not working just put it below CE.

I noticed what might be a bug. The plasma weapons all seem to use 1 for the chance to attack with the handle of the weapon instead of 0.1, making roughly half of the attacks to be very very weak because the chance is equal or almost equal to using the actually damaging part of the weapon. I checked your other mods like mono and tox and they seem to be 0.1 as intended.

on 1.4 here. for some reason when you reform an ideology you can only select the stellic weapons or the greatsword for a relic. on all your other mods you can pick whatever thing you like. dunno if thats intentional or an oversight

if you are having issues with CE plz make sure you only have one copy of CE on you game, otherwise game will Consider CE not loaded

Honestly, thanks for making some great melee weapons mods. There are tons of great mods in the workshop that focus soley on ranged weapons, and not a lot that add melee weapons. And if there are, they either have rather shitty textures or aren't balanced whatsoever. I am really glad I found your mods and will add them all to my next run!

@Catlord9001 Thank you for suggestion. Currently I have no plan to add more Plasma, Mono, and Zeus Weapons since I'm trying to finish the Acid/Tox Weapons Pack. The Crypto Gears Pack will have a Trident (Yes it is Gears not Weapons because there is a Shield).

i've noticed that this is your only pack with no ranged options. my suggestions for ranged options of this are as follows:
1) Plasma Trident/Pitchfork(because demon reasons) that can be thrown like Pilum.
2) Plasma Whip, again, because demon reasons.
3) give one of the bigger swords a "flame sweep" attack, like a wider-but-shorter version of the Hellcat Rifle flameburst.
i neither demand nor expect, only suggest.

They're pretty bad on CE. They do ~1/4 dps of plasma sword and lack the burning mechanic of the plasma sword. Technically works with CE but the balance makes me never want to use them.

Seems to be fine without CE though and the weapons look great.
