What can you do? Maybe finally instead of hissing at anyone who have more brain cells then you, try to actually listen to the feedback. We do this because we love tf2 and because we want good items. And this one is very well made, but it has an issue that can later on break the game. You would honestly redeem yourself if you just made this simple switch to most of your items that has similar issues similar to this one. And it's sad that such a quality item has such a notable flaw.
So, please fix it before it gets added.
NO
GOD DAMNIT
WHY IS IT ENTIRELY MASK PAINTABLE
JUST MAKE THE GOGGLES PAINTABLE
a real shame the whole paint debate is still going on, but i'll chuck in my two cents
the Ninja Cowl, the Pom-Pommed Provocateur and the Classic Criminal are all fully-paintable spy balaclavas which-- if you can believe it-- have NOT compromised team/class recognition
(don't even get me STARTED on multiclass/all-class head coverings)
the head, contrary to popular belief, is not the most integral part of the class's design. spy's most notable area of team color is everywhere below his neck.
to think we've gone 15 odd years doing what we please with cosmetics and now if your paint region is even slightly off-course from the mercenaries' stock design you'll be eaten alive.
alas.
hope this gets in!
You're very rarely going to be seeing someone's full Spy loadout during a match, because they're either going to be invisible or disguised as another player - and disguising totally disables all cosmetics a spy has equipped and reverts the playermodel to the default look.
And even if someone makes a team-recognition breaking loadout, do you know how hard an undisguised Spy sticks out like a sore thumb, regardless what team he's on? If you're not doing Spychecks already on the undisguised Spy on your team, even if his colours look even a little bit weird, you've lost that cointoss.
Eitherway, really great cosmetic. looks like something i could see Spy wearing, and goes well with some of his existing cosmetics.
