Have you tried toggling the console commands? They might both be set to 0. That could also be it.

The main question I can't seem to figure out is why you feel it's important to keep this discussion going. I'm just confused.

infinitepistolammo_enabled_pistol 0/1 (default 1) -- This runs the script for the default pistol's ammo pool. Set to 0 to turn it off.
infinitepistolammo_enabled_357 0/1 (default 0) -- This runs the script for the default .357 Magnum's ammo pool. Set to 0 to turn it off.
If you want unlimited ammo, there are plenty of addons that do so. Or, y'know, you could actually read the description of this addon that overtly tells you not to ask me for other weapon types.
Many TFA weapon packs use default HL2 ammotypes; I mainly designed this addon for such packs.
