Thing is I know the problem - Waternormals from mainmod rewrites Anbennar Waternormal for some reason. But it shouldn't be the case because I set dependencies of this mod to overwrite Anbennar and Main mod files. But Anbennar should always rewrite main mapmod (And so main mod waternormals). I'll check when I have time but for now I don't know what is exact problem of this. The waternormals are probably not being overwritten due to some kind of magic lol.

there are some files in the normal graphical pack that need to be deleted to get rid of this. Forgot what they were but it was like a whole map picture. Since your compatch doesnt have those files they just stay there. Could try adding empty image with same name.

I'm here for the same reason than you Davi, for some reason NII's got this issue very recently because i was using both mod with no outline problems before.

in anbennar i get the europe terrain outline. Idk why but happens only with your mod on, tried different load orders too

Probably it wasn't even a problem on your part, probably some anbennar dev just f-d something up specifically in my previous bitbucket version that got fixed later

Lol, I just updated my bitbucket version to the newest one and it seems to be working. It used to just load vanilla water sprites, not the dark water from the graphiucal pack mod, but now it seems to be working fine. That's strange. Granted, my previous bitbucket was about a 1.5 months old, so maybe there were some shadow changes/fixes done by the Anbennar mod team to fix any previous compatibility issues? Now it seems to work properly

Mmkay. I just downloaded the latest Bitbucket Version and it's seems to working fine to me. Can you tell me exactly HOW you install the BB Version? Because the folder with the BB version should be called "Anbennar-PublicFork" for it to work properly. (And so the descriptor file.)

Hm. Ok I understand that I have to somehow solve this problem and try to reproduce it, but unfortunately I have exams and now I can’t devote as much time to this as I would like.
Therefore, the search for a solution will probably take much longer.

Okay, sry for the late reply, this is really weird, are you sure you're not using any other graphics mods? especially if they change the water. Because I tried to repeat the same thing and still couldn’t. Your water is definitely a lot lighter than it should be. If no mods (except Anbennar of course) are enabled, I will try to replicate this on my PC again.

The compatch does not seem to be working, as it only loads vanilla water instead of the correct water from the mod. If I load only the base graphical pack, it loads the dark color correctly, although obviously with the vanilla map underneath.

I report back that it is NOT due to the monuments mod, but because of another personal interface mod, that for some reason works fine with TOT, but not with other mod. I'll fix that. Thanks again

Very interesting, I'll be sure to check again. It must be those pesky monuments mods, although it's strange that Theatrum Orbis Terrarum doesn't bug those interfaces, and some other mods (not only this) instead do. Thanks for the feedback and for checking yourself!

@ShakuTempest Please check if any other mods are enabled. Because there are no interface changes (No interface folder) in my mod that would be incompatible with BB Anbennar. And I'm literally testing this right now and I'm not having any problems.

I think it is not compatible with the BitBucket version of Anbennar anymore. Game crashes on opening the religious interface for Mystic Accord and I think other GUI buttons are not present (like the deepen dwarven hold one). I like the graphics very much, good work!

You sure this is a problem with my mod and not another mod? My mod don't change UI. Try launch Anbennar only with Main mod + Compatch.

Yeah, I tried both right now and both solved the issue. Not sure why it randomly started occurring, not even being directly after your update. I'll try and run with different combinations of submods

I think it's enough to just delete colormap_water in the main mod folder and check the results. If the problem persists, then the problem may not be with my mod. (Or maybe I'm missing something on my end)

@ScH Yes, exactly. These are compatch files. colormap_water in the MAIN (NII's Graphical Pack) mod. And the main mod should not override anbennar files. You can try delete colormap_water from main mod i guess.

Manually downloading the mod with console/SteamCMD keeps the contents of the folder the same for me

@ScH, that's... weird, it looks like colormap_water.dds from the main mod overrides the Anbennar one, and that shouldn't actually happen.

This is basically what the game should look like. First of all, this is my own take on EU4 graphics, so I probably won't do anything with it.
BUT if you want change something drastically (I hope i using this word correctly) you can always check files of any mod in "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\236850\*Insert mod ID*\" directory and try to change it.

So this works great with the patch, but my only complaint is how thick the border lines are. Is there a way to fix that? It just looks terrible to me.

@NextGenPro IIRC EU4 load order based on alphabetical order (A prefered over B) if files do not tells otherwise (And that's exactly the problem. My mod sets dependencies on Anbennar and ET so it must override files them) But actually can be my mistake and I don't see something.
