i think it hard to checking live players
and can make a log.txt for Multiplayer ?
ex logs text .
- how player give a extra live
- how player lose a extra live
(currently one cool game i had with several mods, was using the "death is not the end" mod, which lets you die 1 time, and then when you find yourself as a zombie, you eat a mushroom which causes a highlander lightning effect, and you regain your knowledge, but only the 1 time :)
+ udderly's "only knocked out" mod, which lets you respawn over and over, about 2 blocks away from where your last character died, with reduced skills. which is cool - BUT one of the main issues i had in that game, wsa the fact that when your character dies, nothing gets dropped - so you lose all your items and bags etc.
i guess 1 fix is to have a mod called "drop all just before death" or something but hey :)
(greets danielusa your rimworld mods are cool too)
I'm curious though, is it possible for players to gain lives after X Days survived instead of starting with a static pool of them?
Like the player starts with 3 and gains a new one every specified number of days as a reward for survival?
1) When a player dies in single player with extra lives, do they just respawn there by healing to full and lose a life or do they respawn somewhere else (I image the former will be problematic if you die to hordes).
2) If they do respawn elsewhere, do they keep their items and/or skills or do they have to loot their corpse and/or regrind all their lost skills?
3) How does this work with the Indefatigable trait from the More Traits mod? For context, the Indefatigable trait causes you to heal to full when you are close to death (your health drops below 15%) and cures the Nox infection.
Also, are killing NPC (example, PZNS TNP) will gain life as well?
