This mod is broken for me. The people won't retrieve grain from the silos if there is grain anywhere else on the map (i.e. on the ground). This makes the people walk half way across the map just to pick up a single portion of grain to make their porridge. The "Store here first" doesn't work at all. And "Keep empty" doesn't work unless you force people/drones to "Store undesired items".

there's only one issue with the mod and that's the inability to build the scrap silo until concrete is baked for the first time.

@Mantastic, All I did was re-upload the mod as-is after the original creator took it down.

It works fine in my game and plenty of other people's games and at this point I have no intention of spending any time troubleshooting it nor maintaining it any further than I have already. The game isn't getting updates anymore, so mods should not 'need' them either.

If you're having a problem, feel free to fix it on your end.

Very enjoyable. This mod adds a nice visual dynamic to add to the look of my base. I have other storage solutions so this is just a nice addition for the aesthetic. Thumbs up.

Will the issue with the scrap silo be fixed? Right now, you can't build the scrap silo unless you bake concrete

The scrap metal one doesn't seem to be available after the latest patch. (This had already been researched before the patch--not sure if that makes a difference.)

Yes, the mod editor creates these lines when a functor cannot be serialized. It is an old bug with the first versions of the mod editor. Should not happen any more.

That must be a line from older version of the game, then?

I just did a folder wide search for it and it appears in 33 places across all the mods that I use, one of them is a mod of my own and it's the mod editor that put the line there, not me. :)

I can see the mod in the manager, and I've never heard about such issue with mods.

There is another unrelated problem in items.lua, some functors failed to be serialized and are currently:

AttackAttractionGetter = GetMissingSourceFallback()

Remove these lines please, as this could lead to errors in the combat logic.

Sorry if the update didn't fixed it.
I re-uploaded and confirmed that it shows up for me just fine. I removed the local copy of the file even, so it was using the steam workshop version just like any other user.

Not sure what else I can do.

The mod didn't need any changes/updates. But I re-uploaded it to the workshop just now to see if that resolves your issue. It's working fine on my end and has been since the previous upload.

The tooltip when you hover over the grain silo in the build menu should tell you the required construction skill level, just like any other building with a skill level requirement.

Oh, yes. In that case I agree with you.

I normally am very against the idea of re-uploading a mod made by someone else. But I make an exception for this kind of situation where they basically shaft their users. That's just not right. Which is why I was okay with re-uploading this one.

@Jaggid Edj, the complaint is not against you, but against the original author of the mod, he acted ugly, but you, on the contrary, well done and thank you for restarting the mod, in fact, the mod itself is useful, but it’s not clear why the original author deleted it, thereby ruining the save

@alex-price01, this mod is not the same steam ID as the previous upload of the mod. It would not affect your old saves at all if you do not have it enabled.

The reason for this upload is for people who do not have the old version available who wanted the grain silos. I'm not the original creator of the previous version and am not responsible for it being gone from the workshop.

Why was it necessary to create a new mod? Due to the fact that the old one was deleted, I cannot start the save where I built a settlement for half a year and there are buildings from the Granary there, now this save gives an error

The concrete silo is frozen storage, and the scrap metal one is nearly-frozen storage (so it is effectively also frozen storage though it might occasionally dip up to just refrigerated.)

Right now, I'm using the brick room full of shelves cooled down to -10°C to freeze everything, including grains.

If you mean this mod is complete, and everything is actually in it. Then yes.

Ah, sorry about that. I have it in a custom build category but totally forgot that I have that category defined in a different mod. I'll sort it and re-upload a fix.
