also buildcubemaps wasnt run in console, so reloading icons will engulf the map's reflective surfaces in errors

@sutamitas_2006 Try turning HDR to full (if available) in advanced video settings, if you don't have it set to that already. That might be causing it?

Not really. This was made specifically for a 2 week mapping jam. Moreso just a fun distraction project to practice my displacement work. Not likely I'll be adding anything substantial to the map in the future.

I have another, larger project that I should direct most of my focus to.

Ah yeah, unfortunate - however since you do use VIDE too, at least I can tell you a very janky and storage-intensive solution to the unreliable scanning problem:

I just unpack the VPKs from the game content I want it to autoscan (CSS, EP1 & 2, L4D2, plus whatever custom content) and I put it into a new folder basically as a 'fake' game directory and I just tell VIDE to autoscan that folder, it seems to have much better success that way compared to attempting to scan steam's VPKs directly.

I did my initial pack with VIDE as well. It failed to pick up a handful of assets, it would seem, so I did another scan through with old-as-bones PakRat and it grabbed the remaining assets. After that I added in a few manually that I saw was missing.

Weird question, but what Pakfile (bsp) lump editor are you using?

I've been using the tool VIDE but frankly it's kind of a piece of crap (weird bugs like randomly putting an extra letter in front of file paths, and autoscan not working correctly with multiple steam directories) so I'm on the lookout for some more modern replacement but I haven't really found any good suggestions from among current sourceSDK & hammer groups.

It appears my packing tool has failed me once more. I think I got everything that was missing.

For me, it's the cliffs, and the decals in and on the buildings. The waterfall is also missing, but that would probably be particles.
