since other people aren't seeing the comment, the text was warping on the shirt in game. It would be cool to see a video of it though so people could get an idea what it would look like. You could always make the text comically large to make the warping less problematic to readability, but idk.
You could also put a logo from the bottle on it! Like the XXX sticker!
at worse, maybe the text on the shirt could be a style?
-Added "seams" to the sleeves and sides of the cape
-Added wrinkles to the cape and sleeves
-Added dark gradient to the bottom of the cape and sleeves
-Made the RED's yellow stain more visible
Other changes considered but not implemented:
-Adding text to the shirt. Originally I had planned for the shirt to have the comics "Badlands brawlers" on the shirt, but ingame this text would just warp and stretch too much on some of the animations, so I decided to remove it. +felt like it might feel bit out of place for someone with no knowledge of the "lore"
-Adding class emblem to the side of the sleeve. Honestly, I'm on the edge on deciding if it looks good or not https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3087092796 (wip version with emblem)
I might have to give the shadows & other details a shot then, Thanks!
I like references to the comics and other parts of TF2, and I appreciate that you modelled over the baked grenade shadows from Demoman's default vest textures, but right now... it requires some improvements.
The tied up parts of his vest could also have some extra-details, model-wise. Right now, he looks more like a mage than a more casual look compared to his comic appearance.
