Hello, I'm trying to set this mission to play on a dedicated server (bisect hosting) and don't have a clue how to set it up. Any ideas, please?

I need some help, whenever my friends die i cant revive them neither can they respawn.. we instantly get into spectater mode and need to restart or be lucky that our game got saved.. am i missing something?

one of the best missions i've played, still haven beat it months later lol. can we change the time of day when playing this mission? to all the guys who cant find the mission, its not in scenarios you have to start a lan game or online to be able to choose it. thanks!

@Recker Yeah it’s only available in multiplayer. I just re-downloaded the mission and it is running ok - No issues.

@Recker Sounds like you’re trying to continue from a previous saved game. On the mission select, there should be a restart mission option. :)

How long does it take to complete? That depends on the players. It has been done in 20 minutes but that was chaotic; no scouting just in, out and lucky.

Ok, I've found the issue. The hostage flow is as follows "Secure prisoner" > "Follow squad" > "Free hostage".

If you "Free hostage" he will leave the group and you won't be able to reinvite him (which is the issue).

But he will follow if your group if you select "Follow squad" and leave it there.

I'm in the process of modernizing the mission and that'll be fixed soon.

@Bengan, I'll check it out. It's possible that an update may have caused an issue/conflict and I've mean meaning to go back and streamline the level (it was created before the 3D editor).

we can't get the hostage to follow us, we are freeing him and he is saying that he is following the squad but he is just standing still. (new to the game so might do something wrong)

@Bengan, Once you get close enough to the enemy compound there should be a radio message that approves the use of Artillery. Artillery is then accessed via the radio commands. 0 - support, etc.

(From what I remember) The medic does start with a medkit. If not, they can always pick up one from the create at the start.

I plan on doing a small update in the near future as the latest update has partly broken Zeus and my fatigue option only worked for the host.

There will likely be some minor balancing too; reducing the reinforcements and increasing the patrol count.

Potentially adding more options for difficulty as well.

@william.mcdonnell Just a quick example for you:

If I've only got one AI team mate F2 selects him.

With the unit selected, I press 4 to bring up the option to get in the ghost hawk.

Now I have more options, where the unit should go (pilot, gunner or backseat/cargo).

To tell the unit where to fly, I bring up my map (with the unit still selected) I click the location I want the AI to fly to.

To land, I select the unit again and press 4 and select disembark.

Hope that very rough guide helps! I'm fairly sure the command interface is covered in one of the tutorials but yeah, it's not the most user friendly way of commanding troops.:steammocking:

@william.mcdonnell Yes, you can command the AI to fly if you wish.

The F keys (F2 - F12) selects the corresponding unit under your control (` selects all units). With a unit selected you can issue various commands, either through the numbered options:

1 = Movement,
2 = Target,
3 = Engagement options,
4 = Vehicle access,
5 = Radio,
6 = Special action,
7 = Combat stance,
8 = Formations,
9 = Assign team,
0 = Radio reply.

Or you can get context options based upon whatever your mouse is hovering over.

Very new to ARMA Coop and community missions...is there a way to command the Heli pilot to fly or do I just have to disable his AI and fly myself?

Weight only affects stamina - it does not have any influence regarding what your solider can carry.

If stamina is disabled, weight does not matter.

Fixed now. BI removed the addon "3DEN" which I believe was something to do with their 3D editor but was automatically added to mission files created in previous versions.

I've also disabled the stamina script as BI has changed their stamina values and added a stamina bar.

Do let me know if you find the AI too easy.

Easy mission. Did with a buddy of mine and we completed it in 19:49 :D (stealth option)

A big thank you to everyone that has subscribed and liked this mission so far!

I did mention a update earlier and rather than keep anyone waiting or dissuading people from trying the mission, I thought there's no harm in releasing what appears to be a stable and (so far) error free update.

These are the changes:

1.1
- Reworked enemy AI
- Difficulty lowered
- Improved stamina
- Performance enhanced
- Enabled friendly AI
- Added Virtual Arsenal (can disable in parameters if so desired)

Yet again, thank you and enjoy!

It has been over a year since this mission was released and in that time BI's patches have inadvertently altered the feel of the mission. I have a version that's in testing and should be released in the next few days.

Yea but somethings wrong on loading I posted on the other site also. Tell me what mods because I only see that you have to have the terrain maps
