this certainly does look less from TF2 and more out of Fallout, Mad Max, Wasteland and Metro, but honestly this does look really cool none of the less

Stylize it to fit tf2 better and it should be fine. Current textures are too detailed.

I wonder if the reflective properties of the mask could look nice if toned down very slightly.

Wow, well... That's something unique. Some probably would say "He can be mistaken with Pyro" but gladly we have 90% of silhouette left and also color of mask could help in recognition. I think it's neat.
