That's a bug that's already fixed, it's a conflict with another mod, drop me your modlist and I'll have a look.
I am unfortunately not a modder myself so I have no clue what might be going on, my guess is that the species ascension perks have some sort of measure to prevent them from being selected if you have 7 tradition trees picked.
This mod works, so must be something on your side, if you are unsure, you can disable all other mods, start a new game and test, I'll be happy to fix it if you do still have the issue, but you seem to be the only one having it (or at least reporting it.)
Try putting the mod under gigastructures just to test, could be the issue.

All other ascension perks seem to be working fine i have your mod loading last and no others that effect traditions or ascension perks
except for gigastructures which just adds a few more ascension perks
if you wanna confirm it yourself disable other mods and only have this and you will see it's fixed. It's likely one of your outdated mods that is still broken.
