@Lava, Very sure it's a Paradox Launcher/Steam issue.

I subbed to the mod and it shows as compatible in the launcher, unsub and sub again to see if that fixes it for you, if not, go to mod library in the launcher and press the refresh button and check clear cache.

it says compatible for 4.0 but its not currently, crashes when i use it and the mod loader says its 3.xx. strangely the other size tradition mods work fine so unsure why this one is an issue

With this mod, you need to complete the ascension before you learn 6 traditions. Otherwise, they will become unavailable to you. Completely. There will be a message that an empty tradition slot is needed. And the game doesn't care that you have more than 40 of them. If the first 6 are occupied, that's it, you can start the game over.

This mod is breaking the change to ascension paths, they should no longer require the technology to reduce tech RNG preventing selection.

Here are some of the changes:

Base cost was reduced to 265 instead of 300. Base cost is the cost of the first slot.

Reduced price increase per adopted group - a 50% decrease, again, to avoid the later slots from becoming realistically unattainable.

There's more to it, and as I've not created the mod and only adopted it, I do not turely know all it's details, feel free to dive in it's files and change these values to suit your wanted play style.


The file in question to change is plentiful_traditions_defines.txt under \common\defines.

@Laaven, Good question, so with every tradition slot the cost becomes higher, so the costs, even initial ones were reduced, otherwise, the later slots will become sort of impossible to get.

Somethings may still be broken but it fixes the most major bug reported, let me know what you find.
