Get a Job which isnt replaceable by AI or be really good - easy as that.
So sure, don’t give them credit for the artwork… or wait, they said it was AI generated, but do give them credit for their code!
the other mod (I sent the link to Tuarre) will be where if I base anything off of this, but expand it, will go.
1. Sometime soon-ish (away from my computer so not right now, and busy so it could be a few days), I’ll make a 1.5 port (but will remove it if asked)
2. If you will be a while, could I then integrate it into my own mod (once again, with credit). Thanks!
P.S. sent a friend request so I can add you as a contributor if you say “yes”
And, will you return to this mod one day?
For example, testing with 100 pawns ith a 40% chance of changing gender, if approximately 90 of them are the same gender (either male or female), it indicates that the mod is working effectively.
What if we could pick multiple of these genes, and one is picked (with some sort of priority, so the same one is always picked)? This would allow interesting mechanics when combined with Gendered Genes , Hermaphrodite Gene , and/ or Hermaphromorph .
That would allow you to make it so males almost always give birth to males, and females almost always to females! Would allow very interesting population dynamics, as if you have primarily one gender it could "shift".
For instance, if each gender gives birth primarily to the other gender, populations will shift to 50/50. If each primarily births it's own, it will shift to 0/100!
Thanks!
and, yeah, legally I think you're right about not having to ask. But, just to me at least, depending on the mod, the morally part is different (A mod that is made as a framework, or is quite large, or already has many mods using it, that's just mostly a given, so I'll probably link it and, if they want me to remove it, do that. But, smaller ones, that's a different story)
@Sera indeed. One of the few gameing communities that is truly kind, (kinda ironic considering what people do to pawns...).
If it helps people tend to ask if you don't outright say it in the description. Despite the game in question the rimworld community is fairly good people.
like, you have a xenotype with the "male: hussar" and "female: impid" genes, then it adds the genes of that xenotype onto your pawn if it's of that gender.
I mean, the outland: genetics adds "ascension genes" for each xenotype, base-game and modded, so basically you'd have change the activation from "click a button to activate" to "if male/female, activate" right?
@DisKorrupted If you do you better share the xenotype.
ok cool. I will keep an eye on it to see what it says.
