Amazing! I have been looking for this mod for a while!

Very satisfying destroying windows now! Very cool mod!

Ok so turns out this mod has pretty much fully broken due to updates to the game. I am planning on making a new version, but there is no guarantee that will happen because I am a bit lazy. Thank you for enjoying the mod while it actually worked, and hopefully it will work again via a new version.

Could we get a short documentary on youtube on the making of this mod

The range of glass recognition is not to break the glass that is in direct contact, but when creating this map, it recognizes that single glass, so when you break the glass, the glass that is not in contact with it also breaks.
It is mainly found in mod maps.

@Sruby that bug is listed in the known issues section. With the current way glass breaks, its not possible to fix.

I have however been trying to think of an overhaul to the system (mainly because of the bug where large panes of glass will now just float there because of the update), and I might be able to fix that too. I'm not guaranteeing this new system will even be released because its just a concept rn

It works, but there is something that would make it better and less laggy, glass voxels are somehow connected through like wifi, idk. But the point is, if they are connected all connected glass breaks.

So the fix would be that only the voxels that are touching each other count as connected. Otherwise its not very realistic.

Make a setting so the little glass powder isnt a thing because if I blow up a tall building my pc blows up mostly and its alot of rendering.

no way when the glass breaks and the little pieces falling on ground making a lil crack is the best touch

the glass literally cracks before the pieces fall, this mod is amazing

how come every now and then when I break glass, there's a voice that says, "No, ahh!"

uh when i use a vehicle and its going over 30kmph the glass in the vehicle will automatically break

Sad, smaller glass objects still work ok so its mostly an issue for large windows. I play pretty regularly and this issue only started happening very recently so something happened then. This is an awesome mod so if you ever do find a fix in your free time that would be awesome.

@SamsungSmartFridge Yes, unfortunately I have not found a fix to this error and will likely not. It used to work perfectly fine, and between the time it worked and stopped working I changed nothing about the shattering code. I have no idea what caused it :(

Idk if this is another mod causing it but the larger pieces of glass shatter but freeze, and all the fragments stay as 1 big piece.

Fr its a really cool mod but on Caldera Tower it tries to shatter all the glass of the 40 story building at once which my overclocked CPU cant even handle

I can't seem to find the mod in my mod list in teardown?? I have it enabled and have been subbed to this mod since last year but now I can't disable it because it is completely gone from my mod list. (I checked the whole list 3 times)

Could you make a if glass is broken at X point then break glass in Y radius? May help with the breaking all glass in a shape. Im not a coder so if thats impossible all good!

I actually never gave the glass breaking effect much thought in this game but wow this is awesome, really does remind me of the glass effects in half life 2 and gmod. Good work on this bro

make a funny thing where u input the konami code, it plays the fart.mp3 sound and all glass on the map just crumbles, no velocity just crumbles

I think adding a limit to how much glass can be broken at one would help when you shoot a building with lots of windows.

now chucking rocks at windows is just as fun in teardown as it is in real life!
