yup that was the issue now its playing the shotgun pump and reload sounds from mbws

one of the mods i have installed does mess with sound scripts so maybe thats it then

oh that just im lazy af so kept the old one in there the script doesn't use them tho cuz they have different names

also the grenade pinpull are default cuz its animation is different

no i mean its only the firing sounds
which is odd considering when i look in the files theres more than just firing sounds

if you mean the footstep sound are still default well cuz i removed it cuz blue shift use a different sound and also it doesn't make sense to have HEV sprint sound with barney vest so i just kept the default

maybe its my installation of the game thats bugging out cause none of them mess with sound
at this point imma just port mbws to blue shift myself

cuz if the firing works the reload must be work except the glock and the 357 cuz MBWS reload doesnt match

then you may wanna check your other mods see if any of them modify the reload sound

okay also after i bit of trouble shooting i got the firing sounds to work all the other sounds are still default tho

lol okay install GCFSCape and open the vpk again you will see two folders copy them and make a new folder in the custom folder name it whatever you want, then paste the two folder you copy in it then it should works.

try copy the content in the vpk and make a new folder in the custom folder in bshift and paste it in.Then try to load the game see if it works cuz it works for me.Im sorry for the inconvenience

it makes my game crash upon trying to load into a map
