i was going to say the same thing realgreen said but separate characters would be great than replacing the sprite

Will there be an update to have the characters be separate versions of the characters that they resprited, as in something like the way you access the tainted characters in the menu. I think that would be a nice way to do that.

@rolldo4 If you want a character to start with their base items, you can use the console or the da rules mod to generate them. If you know something about isaac modification, you can open the players.xml file in the resources-dlc3 folder of the mod and look where it says Jessie, and replace (items="382") with (items="122,117") so that it has the dead bird and WoB. You can do that with any character you want to have any other item. If you want all the original characters to have their respective items and statistics, delete or rename the players.xml file, but that will also cause them to lose the statistics added in the mod (For example initial items, hearts, or Mewtwo's homing shot)

Love the mod and use it often, was curious if there was a way to just have characters and not reskin the 'base' characters? I like playing Eve but with the reskin she doesn't get her normal starting loud out, like dead bird and WoB.

So it adds new characters and items but reskins only regular characters?

@matizbelchatowa This mod is only a resprite of 14 vanilla Isaac characters, and adds another 12 characters and 2 new items. It is for those who want to play with the characters from The Binding of Pokemon, but without the items, enemies and bosses that the full version of the mod changes.

So this mod resprites just characters rather than whole game but content is the same?
