Might as well ask directly - how did you get the 'flat colors/plain shading' look on the model in Source? Any special steps during Blender export, or maybe phong properties in vtf? It usually depends on vertex normals, and those tend to get messed up during export, I'm all out of ideas.

I long since wanted to start making PC-themed mods, but keeping the anime-style shading on export is pain, 10 times that when working with 3D editors other than Blender. Great job on the mod.
