Hey, just tested it and it seems to be working ok (even witha bunch of other mods). However, the Great Powers button seems to be too big! :P

Hello!
This mod crashes whenever I click on "Play Game", after selecting a country.

So on the mod list there's no red exclamation mark so it appears to be in date, but the mod still isn't working. There's no crash, but the interface remains vanilla when its turned on.

I'm pretty sure Better UI overwrites the Government Reform Buttons, since this mod isn't updated to contain those. Honestly, the only reason I want to stick with this mod is because of the square flags. I know there is another mod like that, but this one does it better in my opinion.

By accident i found out why my game is not crashing while others have this problem.
The mod Better UI 1.27 seems to overwrite some part of this mod and prevents this crash. Disabling better UI makes my game crash too.

That's very strange. I have been playing with this mod and all dlc (including dharma) without problems. The power projection part of the toolbar looks a bit odd but i had no stability issues and i've played 2 games up until about 1650.

Only change i made to the topbar.gui was adding the Government reforms button.
I moved the button to the middle of the screen right next to the top bar. It is not the best spot for it but it doesn't get in the way of anything there. Ideally i'd make it into a similar button to the Great powers one and put it next to the country's name so it mirrors the Great Powers button or something but that is beyond my capabilities. You can move it elsewhere yourself by editing the position coordinates of the button between the lines 121 and 141.

In order to make it compatible with the Dharma expansion all you need to do is:

1. Download the mod if you already haven't.
2. Extract the mod files out of the zip file that is located in your mod folder (Look at point 7. for where to find it)
3. Open the "topbar.gui" file from the "interface" folder with your favourite text editor (I use Notepad++)
4. Replace the text in it with the one from: https://gist.github.com/Gunteraz/52c0abf4a6d807eca29051ac9cfb2e3c
5. Save the changes.
6. Re-package your mod ("gfx" and "interface" folders and the "descriptor.mod file") into a zip file called tbarwgui.zip.(I use 7-zip but others should work fine aswell.)
7. Replace the zip file in your "mod" folder (Mine's at C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod) with the one you just made.
8. Start the Eu4 launcher, enable the mod and enjoy the game!

It should work for those who don't have Dharma expansion because the reason it crashes the game is the new Government Reforms button Paradox added to the game with Dharma. However it is very easy to make it compatible with Dharma yourself. I will explain in my next comment how to do it.

Doesn't work for me, even when disabling all other mods.

Did only a quick test and started a new campain. Seems to work fine for me in 1.27.

i don't think the creator supports this mod anymore.... it wasn't updated to 1.24, it wasn't updated to 1.25 and i don't think it's going to be updated to 1.26.... btw the author hasn't touched the mod since november 2017 (that's 10 months).... this mod is great but it's a shame the author abandoned it
