Even before I checked the description I knew this had to be a remake of the same map by Azorae without the laser. That one always felt like a No-Elements map to me, except indeed with a single element. The design seemed familiar but nevertheless heavily modified to work within a true No-Elements restriction.

As you’ll see, I didn’t use the first area with portalable ceiling/floors or one of the angled panels. By very simply jumping from the furthest pit from either the grate or the platform opposite such and placing the portal immediately before landing , you can get to the end platform and skip most of the map.

I did go back and find the intended solution (still rather quickly) afterwards, and found it much more satisfying. If you still have the map, it would be a very simple fix to prevent my exploit. I was going to say the map had an overly complicated design for what ended up being such a simple solution, but that’s my fault and not yours. :P

I didn’t really enjoy this map as much as your others simply due to the easy-to-execute unintended solution, and didn’t even give it a thumbs up to begin with, but now that I’ve seen the proper idea you meant to convey I’m giving it one. Still have to dock enjoyment points, though - coming from the person who made Fiendish, Fractious, and Godly Behemoth, my solution seems like a big oversight. I was able to solve all three of those without timescale modification though, so guess I’m just too good at cheesing this game :P

Difficulty: 1.5/10 (much higher for the uninitiated solving it the proper way)
Enjoyed: 6.5/10

Pretty good, but a little short, I think you could add another use for the second infinite fall, and make the portal wall by the first also used.

Great puzzle. Tried almost all the wrong things first (AGAIN :steammocking:) before coming up with the, what I assume is, the intended solution.

That took me forever. I love it when that, "I've got it" feeling comes on. :) Big thumbs up!

Wow. One of the best of the non-elements series. Looks impossible. Hint 1: Go to the far chamber, put a portal in the ceiling; return to the slanted panel facing the entrance, and do a ceiling-floor jump. Hint 2: you can transfer a portal from floor to ceiling.

Unlike some folks, thinking like this doesn't come naturally. I stumbled around for a while before I saw a way out. Quite good. Nice looking map too. Thank you and I hope I'll see ya round the workshop.

Very cool. (I love no-elements maps!)

Took just about 10 minutes to finish.

Thumbs up! Had to take a break and come back to this one because of brain drain. Glad I did not give up.

My favorite no elements map. Everything just fits together. Requires a deep understanding of the stuff you can do with portals.
