Being able to use these separately from the original thrusters would be nice.

If I do enable both the original and this - will there be both available? Because I would like to do a smooth transition in my survival world without some thrusters just disappearing.

A mod that alter the thruster colors the same way you alter the color of the lights would be great!

can u make that the vanilla Thrusters also get colour replacemend when usin this? (overwrith orginals)

becouse its an replacement, of the mod, so you dont need to "rebuild" the thrust engines

@ Blacky: Oh good lord if you wanna have a talk about which thrusters are better (ion, combustion, nuclear, whatever...) maybe you should play KSP. There you actually have different technologies for the thrusters.

There is no such distinction in thrusters in SE, yet. Maybe further down the line there will be.

This is a great looking thruster and that's all that matters in this game for now. It looks good!

@ramrar: I would love a version of Kiithnaras' mod Kiith's Thermal Engines (Stock Thrusters w/ Red-Orange Thrust) . He has some other changes to the default blocks that I love. It would look great with your thruster color too!

i have taken the colour from the thrusters of a space shuttle :)

but how can you say that this is the real color of a thruster, you have made a decition for one specific type of thruster to be "the real one". Thats what you are saying up there...

but there are no ion thrusters ^^ this are only thrusters, not ion, not nuclear, not chemical, and no superman, badman or hulk thrusters ^^

Well anyways, the only thing I wanted to say is that there is no "real thruster color", because the color depends on the technology you are using to produce the thrust.

But it is logic that says so, because ion thrusters need a high amount of electrical energy to operate, combustion thrusters do not.
- ion thrusters are more energy efficient that combustion thrusters
- ion thrusters are blue combustion thrusters typically not
- ion thrusters don't need an additional oxygen supply (thus need less room inside the spacecraft)
- ion thruster are just awsome, combustion thrusters pretty much standard
