the drop pods now actually spawn the pawns but the pawns spawn with no clothes

otherwise it works super well

@gondal caterpillar Fixed. Please update core, Orks mod and Hive Cult mod for necessary minimum. I couldn't narrow down issue with Necron yet.

but everytime I do the hive cult scenario, my colonists are naked in the character editor part, and when I load in the map, the pods they spawn in just don't come down

@gondal caterpillar Usually when modders ask a log, it's whole log. That's why there's hugslib, pastebin, etc. I don't know what kind of mod you are using, what kind of system you are playing at, what kind of conflict happens in there.

Besides, as a modder, if there's trillions of errors, I recommend you not to continue that save. It will be broken soon or later.

i meant when I do the hivecult start it doesn't spawn the panws
the basic lone genestealer works fine

The pawns don't spawn in 1.5 for some reason when I start
like the pods don't come down and it tells me that it's 1.4 only in the dev log thing

@All Sorry for the mess but due to the memory leakage in 1.6, I decided to demote this mod from 1.6 and separately launch 1.6 compatible mods. This mod will not be updated any further since I have to drastically change mod structure in 1.6.

Official Devs in Discord says there's no changes in unstable about memory management, but unfortunately, during this one week memory usage of 1.6 significantly increased. I'll try to strip as many items as possible, but I don't think you can play this mod at the day 1 of 1.6.

Hi i dont know why but when im raiding genecult village by my Necrons and press x1 speed (from pause) the game is crashed without errors. All just stops and game close yourself

@ThePhantomIntheTypewriter Sorry for my belated response. I guess that comes from vanillas random gene mix-up logic. I tried to avoid it as many as possible, but still I can see some of the pawns who are not actually genestealer spawned with genestealer gene, which causing them oddly rendered. Yet, I have no idea how to eliminate it - perhaps your method is the easiest way...

As per my earlier comment, I "think" I found the answer. Refreshing the pawn via Character Editor corrected the issue. So, they may've just loaded in wrong.

Hi there, hope I'm not being a bother with this, but I'm still getting the issue with the invisible parts of my Genestealer Purestrain and Patriarch. I've installed the HAR patch needed, though I also see it's in the Core as well.

So, I'm trying to identify what could be causing the texture issue, unless it's Vanilla Expanded as the culprit.

@SankaZen Oh shoot, I was wrong. I rechecked source codes and figure out why this issue happens only to Purestrain / Patriarch. Hotfix will be deployed soon at WH40k Core mod's end.

@SankaZen That's intended activity - all Genestealer's kiss only convert pawn's ideology and kept their faction as it is, because technically there is no way (or so far as I know) to figure out mother faction of pawn who used the ability to the victim.

Easy way is just convert all the Genestealers' into player faction if you started by Genestealer starting scenario, but in this case, if enemy converted any pawn into a genestealer (technically they can), then they became your pawn.

I know this is not a lore-friendly, but the best case for you now is hiring them first and then convert them into the genestealers.

idk if its a bug but it seems with only trying to make the purestrain they join your ideology but are still in the hostile faction, its just with only converting pawns of enemy factions to purestrain

@mermader What do you mean by make? If you properly converted pawns by Genestealer's kiss, they will be your pawn.

yup when they get injured and you put them into bed they just keep popping out instead of staying put (constant colonist needs rescuring), also the genestealer infecting thing doesnt work.

This mod appears to not work at all. No start, even in Prepare carefully, when i flip to Genestealer as their xeno, it won't do it, even after saving and reloging as the up top description says.

there's a lot of warhammer 40k mods for 1.5 that simply just don't seem to work. This appears to be yet another one.

Also, the genestealer cultist backpack appears to have texture-error graphics when worn. Maybe because im not running hivecult?

Oh, and genestealer respirators dont seem to work right in their bill- they have almost non-existent build times, and pawns try to make them but then stop and go off to do something else- rinse and repeat. Maybe because i need to run hivecult?

Purebreed genestealers instantly attack my pawns on kiss-morphing and kill them :(

Its almost like these space gods we serve dont care about us and just want to consume.
Ammend this heresy and allow 'stealers to steal my heart again, instead of ripping it out of my sternum. <3

@2922608187 Fixed. Please update Core mod and this mod. I don't know why but suddenly normal immunity utility doesn't work against genestealer's kiss. So instead, if pawn has any immunity to them, the hediff itself will be self removed.

Also, genestealer immunity now doesn't have immunity bonus.

emm, I think it's the one in the Biotech dlc, looking at the text it describes it's effect as being immune to some diseases rather than increasing the speed of immunity.
I manually added Genestealer-related genes to the raiders in the DevMode-generated raid and found that they could transform Pawn with Genestealer Immunity

And, Genestealer Immunity already has same bonus as Perfect immunity is provides. Just out of curiosity, what's the point you are asking it?

The gene “Genestealer Immunity” doesn't seem to be immune to Genestealer's skills from the custom xeno gene.
And is it possible to remove the immunity speed modification from “Genestealer Immunity” to prevent it from conflicting with “Perfect Immunity”?

However, this new spawning mechanism may change pawn's skill and passions, since they are technically completely a new pawn just sharing some essence with the original pawn.
