Report a translation problem
im trying a different build for once and noticed that a tier 1 npc 1 shotted me (not even headshot) while i was wearing full heavy armor (set from valis) and 400+ hp.
my friend who is using a bow is also dealing a LOT more damage than i can deal with a legendary weapon with just her starting bow with flinthead arrows.
im not sure if this is a bug or whether its intentional
That's definitely not intended (even if it turns out that I made a typo). I'll fix it.
Is there a way to locally change the color of the flames of the arrows?
- Fixing the minor issues with Snake Arrows and Razor Arrows.
- Adding Frostbite status effect to the Ice Shard arrows (pretty sure they don't do that--the wiki says they don't do that--but they should)
Those are definitely things I overlooked. I suppose I count the Set arrows as Special arrows, their weight should probably still be reduced. That'll come in an update soon.

I'm willing to look into it if the poison of the arrows is so weak its negligible (as what seems to be the case for more special arrow options in the base game). I don't know much about snake arrows since I never played with the Set religion or anyone who had it. I was under the impression that some people happily used them as they were so I didn't think they were as poorly balanced as other options. Is the poison weaker than standard poison?
Now I've tested it (properly this time), and if you were to attack just about any human enemy in the game with the level of gear appropriate to fight that enemy, you will still (more often than not) 1-shot them with a headshot. So it is still what some might find to be OP. Slightly better gear and you'll probably kill them outright with any shot.

I agree. Archery is meant to be lethal, not a minor annoyance to those being shot at. I hope the damage stays around where it currentlyis.
Would it be feasible that an archery mod could utilize sliders or allow us to scale the damage rather than be prebaked? I only ask because, if possible I think it could be made to work for any server.

But in my attempt to make the damage increase apply to all bows (even mod-added and cash shop bows), I altered the power attack scaling. But I miscalculated it and it appears to doing twice as much increased damage as I intended it to.
They just aren't real powerful at long ranges even high poundage bows. Well made steel armor will stop one dead in its tracks though. Tod's Workshop on youtube has great videos demonstrating this.
