I have the original version with no DLC. Despite this mod claiming to not need any DLC, it still requires Dawnguard according to crash logs. I went through the process of uninstalling by using the console command but the script continues to attempt running even after unsubscribing and deleting the mod manually. And if that weren't enough the action that causes the game to crash is me simply trying to see a merchant's wears.
I'm now having to factory reset my game. Subscribers beware.
So then I turned off all of my mods except this one and the one with my follower. I had to mess around with saves and un-equipping and re-equipping for a minute but I got it working. After that, I just closed the program and turned on my mods again in groups for 4 to 7 (because doing it one at a time would have taken waaaaay too long). Every time I re-entered the game, I just used a console command to bring an enemy to me (In this case, I liked the Vampire Assassin the best) and every time, my follower would equip her helmet for combat and take it off afterward. I continued the process until all of my mods were back on and for some reason it works now even while all my mods are back on.
