An excellent mod but with the hre still not playable because of the electors.

Idk depends on the mods. If it was just ET, then it should be compatible with the save.

Also, I noticed I lost the celestial empire reform as the chinese emperor. doing "clr_flag empire_of_china_dismantled" made the reform reappear.
I'm not familiar with EU4 modding but looking in the files I saw in /on_actions/00_on_actions.txt on line 1859 that this line "set_global_flag = empire_of_china_dismantled" probably shouldn't be there when doing the if statement, or did you mean to do "has_global_flag" instead? Removing this line seems to fix this issue.

My bad, just tested this starting at 155, and saw the Huns popping up at 164!

New nations should pop up still, it may take a little bit longer though than before.

In Extended Timeline it seems new nations don't pop up anymore. Is this because I enabled the mod mid-playthrough?

One thing is that it seems to revert flags and such to earlier versions of ET, something I noticed. Like Nabataea for example. Don't know if thats a bug or a feature, that is why I bring it up here. Same thing if playing with addons that add new reforms(which this mod doesn't touch), seems to want to "revert" things to an earlier state in that regard. Just thought I'd point it out.

Yeah and i'm probably going to update it again soon with some balancing changes around the inflation decay mechanic.

Was this updated? If it was I thought I'd point out it still says its version 1.36.2. Small annoying thing but it you reupload it so that the version says 1.37.2 that would fix any confusion.

*Cadillac Rizro the mod works for ET however there are irregularities with it, such as it bringing out cultures in eras that aren't supposed to exist yet, or religions.

I think this is the best anti-blobbing mod, and especially needed(and awesome) for a mod like Extended Timeline. Why? Its just more interesting than simply just penalizing people, which is also important to a degree. The idea of overextending and rebellions of various sorts causing break away nations makes the game that much more interesting, far more than just preventing blobbing. I do hope you keep the ET version updated Chaffy. I beg you in fact hehe

Can't really pin it down, but when I got this mod activated. hovering over an uncolonized province's "Send" Colonist-button crashes the client every time, Doesn't happen when mod is deactivated. I can live without the HRE, but Colonies? ;-)

I should add that the reason everyone was ineligible to become emperor was because everyone was the wrong government type.

Not sure if you're still working on this, but i had the same experience as johrg in that when i formed the HRE (as in I started early and then brought it into creation, not that i unified it), every nation that joined the HRE ended up as ineligible to become emperor, so when my first emperor died it dissolved immediately.

Tested all of my mods and it was this mod that broke it, a shame because it is suited for very long-form ET games.

Good idea but in the Grand campeign seems to be a problem with the electien of the emperor of the hre. Any elector votes for himself because any posible candidate has -1000 because of rhe wrong government.

This mod is a dream come true for people like me who like to let ET run in the background all day while they work. My only wish is that this mod could create unique cultures/ countries. Regardless well done love this mod!

it's really just the professionalism that grinds my gears, since there is basically no way to recover from -2% yearly professionalism loss and you will perpetually be stuck at 0% professionalism. The rest is bad but not overly so. Maybe more focus on the civil/economic/technological slowdown rather than military decay for a modifier such as that. Very good mod other than that.

It representts an overall decay of society, but i'm probably going to re-do and re balance a bunch of that.

why must the empire in decline modifier make your army terrible. The rest of those modifiers are one thing but -2% professionalism a year is a little bit silly.

That's for the events so the events run smoothly, otherwise it won't work because it won't know what a certain country tag is.

Shouldn't the mod be a little bit cleaner? The file seems to have unnecesary history files and also includes country flags for some reason

This new system should reduce border gore to the point that the map ends up looking like something you would see in Multi-player, at least that's the goal.

I am re-working the revolt war mechanics... and so far it looks promising. Basically i'm going to add auto-annexing for revolt wars and revolt wars only, and only for provinces that neighbor a province you own, to create these sort of larger successor states, in addition to adding a flag for the event that allows you to declare a revolt war for about 10 years after the revolt initially happens.
