What about implementing a mod that removes undesired traits in game, e.g. by utilizing the medical bed and for instance star credits? Would it be implementable at all?
Words are what separate us from the animals. Do you want to be an animal?
These days, reading is not a popular pastime though, which means many people do not read that way, because, frankly, they aren't particularly adept readers. Those are the people responsible for the double space falling out of fashion.
I'm old, but I retrained myself to stop applying the double-space. The double-space was something introduced for typewriters and isn't necessary on computing equipment.
I talk in short sentences. Only have 1,000 characters.I make 2 space periods too. Here no space.Hate truncation limits.Spaces count as characters which is hella stupid. So no space.Few like 2 read.Trunc limits forcing ppl to abbv. everything.Make grammar poor.Steam and othrs need 2 stop arbitrary trunc limits. Is soft censorship.Less intrusive fascism.Cannot express deep or complex thoughts.Only simplistic surface thoughts. No room to give examples or anecdotes or even analogies.
Only thing exercised by reading is the mind.Powerful ppl do not want smart ppl who can read/write competently.Easy to control simple 'n ignorant ppl.But yes, I old.Legal snr citzn in 3 mths. This dumbest post ever I write.
It's like two line spaces when starting a new paragraph. Just form, ol' boy.
Males and females do have different run animations, so my guess is that it's related to the actual animations and is not intentional. While one could argue that it's an attempt at realism, the difference is far greater than the reality of that gender difference irl, so I think it's entirely unintended.
Is that what it is... new generation doesn't double space after a period? Who knew? ;)
I picked a 2nd decimal value in between those two 1st decimal values and just went with it, to save time. "Close enough" basically.
Also, thanks for the chuckle first thing this morning. :)
I did a few races; seems women are still tiny slightly slower in long races, which may be an advantage to them since if they group is running to attack someone, the men will die first. (Actually I'm ok with slight speed difference due to men being taller on average.)
BTW I know you're old; you put 2 spaces after periods ;) (I do the same.)
I will invariably stop playing Stranded for a while relatively soon again, and I'm getting old, forgetting I did something is actually very likely without an in-my-face indicator.
I wonder if walking speed is based on height? I wonder if a shorter man would walk slower?
The research to add traits is genius idea! Maybe they invented a new exercise to walk faster?
The other reason for an entirely seperate mod is because I am convinced this gender disparity is not intentional. I expect them to fix it in a future game update, at which point I can just disable this mod and remove it from the workshop with 2 mouse clicks. Whereas if it were nested in a mod that did other things it would require me to take the time to remove it piece by piece from the mod.
I do like the idea of enable/disable specific features, but prefer to do it in the Options:Mod Options medu(s), rather than Mod Manager. EG this could just be a check box in Humans Run mod labeled "Women walk/run even with men". But yea for 'mod SEO' separate mods are better for PR, since that would be a hidden-ish checkbox.
I actually do many smaller mods instead of merged, larger mods intentionally. As a mod user, that's my preference. It allows me to enable/disable specific features that I may or may not want in any given playthrough. All-in-one, larger mods don't allow for that.
If I had my druthers, mods like Beyond Stranded and Project-X would be broken up into a dozen different pieces for the various different aspects of what they do for that reason.
Considered merging your walking mods into one? I've got 40 subscriptions as it is, & my poor scroll wheel is wearing out ;)
I can't use this without your other mod anyhow, big red " Missing Dependency ".
