@Mark Corrigan Barbed wires are usually dismantled in one way - boltcutters. In case of zomboid - sledgehammer.

@batemanyo I'll see if I can figure it out in a better way than it is right now, but devs gave us not many choices due to how the carpentry is written in the code.

guys most mods that change a UI, such as this when you right click the floor to bring up the menu, it WILL be incompatible with other mods that dso the same, so likely hood is this is not compatible with MORE BUILDS or JAYS MORE VANILLA BUILDING

@PMPKIN No its not. The only thing that mod changes is "Fences" section and for a reason it reverts it to vanilla. It doesn't support any mods that also change that section.

Is it supposed to appear in the construction menu if I'm an admin? Why don't I see them? I started the server without mods, just with this one and nothing doesn't work or are you not telling me something, or do I have to level up to unlock the recipe?

Probably, there is no proper way to make it compatible with current carpentry system, because you cannot simply add entry, you have to overwrite section. I will try to figure this out proceduraly sometime later.

@DRAC0_R3D This mod only replaces Barbed Fence to Barbed Wire, it has its own behavior and can work with whatever else is working. The only thing is that you do not have Barbed Fence anymore.

@SDgamer There is a common sense, which is what you expressed. Then there is a gameplay reasoning - that is what I expressed. Barbed Wire that kills zombies will result in zombie farming simulator which doesn't align with my personal views for this game.

Errors when right clicking
i get errors as soon as i right click, in console.txt file it gives this message multiple times:

@Francisco Jose There is no barbed fence. Barbed wire replaces it and is crafted from 2 planks, nails and wire as item that can later be placed with Carpentry skill. You cannot just place barbed wire without crafting it.

@Dismellion I'm just asking why the barbed wire requires 2 planks to be crafted and the barbed fence requires no planks at all. Not complaining or anything, I've been using the mod and it's cool, but I find it odd. Wouldn't it make more sense for the barbed fence to require 1 barbed wire, 5 planks and 6 carpentry?

Even if you didn't get what I meant you can tell just by looking at the fence that it should, at minimum, require 5 planks. Just for the sake of consistency.

@Dismellion Uh, the second picture? The Barbed Wire recipe you're showing needs 2 planks (For some reason?) but the Barbed Wire Fence just says '6 Carpentry - 1 Barbed Wire', and no wood whatsoever? Am I getting something wrong?

@SharleBu Most likely because its modifying vanilla ISBuildMenu. This mod only modifying a Fences category function from it, but if the file is not vanilla it will not work obviously.

Sadly isn't compatible with WE:buildZ, it makes both mods malfunctioning.

For anyone wondering, I can say this mod is safe to add or remove mid game btw.

@Altay Tankı Dont post nonsense, because mod is fully operational [i.gyazo.com]. You simply have compatibility issues with some of the modpacks that replace vanilla carpentry with something else. The stack trace you posted signifies that clearly - your ISBuildMenu file is not original and replaced with some mod.

Not from the world just unable to craft them. Its def a mod compatibility issue on my end.
