First I would like to say thank you for an enjoyable mod with a ton of incredible mechanics. There really are some amazing promotions in this mod. But I also agree there are definitively some imbalances like being able to para-drop melee units in any era. I think it would be more balanced and enjoyable if that came as a tech upgrade later in era or in some other timeline restriction. However, I understand that can be complex to implement. Again thank you for the amazing work put into this mod. It is so much more fun compared to the base game promotions.

Paradrops were a thing in between WWI and WWII. I would make it require flight. but that is the least little thing. Not working for me though. I am using 6T Core and its alternative units

I like this mod so far. It effectively increases the number of experience levels a unit can have. There's only one thing that bugs me. How in the world would an Ancient Era unit learn how to paradrop? I think that ability should be available only from the Atomic Era and onwards. Otherwise, it makes no sense.

Hey, its been long . Can you add "Spike Line" promotion from anti-cavalry unit but apply it to all unit type please? I think recon should always one step ahead of other unit.

Also, with only this mod and Aircraft Carriers Perfected enabled, I still get this error:

@doctormm I thought it is proper to give naval melee only one heal ability(4 tier), but maybe it is too cruel for MELEE units. My intention was limiting heal from naval units, but now I think giving melee units heal ability more is reasonable. thanks for your opinion

@Stuff_the_Second Not really. I've never edit spy's promotions, and all I did in last update is fixing naval carrier promotions.
And.. um.. I test a game with my mod(& aircraft carrier perfected), CIVITAS city states, spy promotion, and it works well. I really don't have any idea about your problem.
Can you check your database.log or modding.log file? If there were crushes between mods, maybe those files can give me a hint.

No ability to heal in the naval melee promotion tree? That's a pretty significant issue for using them.

I just resubbed to this mod and unsubbed to Spy Promotion tree (which is the first mod linked in my comment just below this one). I found that all the city-state icons work just fine and starting a new game works just fine.

Does your mod touch spy promotions by any chance?

Actually I just double checked all my mods I have subbed to. The only other ones that affect promotions is the Aircraft Carrier perfected (which you have set as required for your mod) and Spy promotions enhanced ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1746994170 )

There is another mod I have subbed to that offer promotion tree alternatives (amongst other options) called DB's CIV VI Gold ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2533573440 ) , but I always make a habit or turning the promotion options off in the advanced setup screen

I had made a save file and left the game to do something else. When I relaunched the game the savefile would not load and instead just ended up crashing. I know for a fact that this mod is the ONLY mod that updated between the time I made the save file and the time when I went back to it.

I do have other mods that affect promotions but I have been using those mods for a while with CITIVAS City-States expanded. It was only after I unsubbed from this mod, that the icons for the city-states went back to normal.

Whatever update you applied to this mod today has made it incompatible with CIVITAS City-States Expanded (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1331757859)

The city-state icons are all messed up with some appearing with the wrong icon and some having no icon only to reveal hovered over that they have the wrong icon entirely. This is for when selecting what city states to not be spawned in. Trying to start a new game or load savefile cause the game to crash (Not a CTD mind you, but the typical mods having conflict message that CIV6 has)

And in case of ZOC, it may be impossible, because cavalry unit's ability is "ignoring ZOC".

Hi, when will you update the mod? The aircraft carrier bugged out like other said, I only have Advanced Cheat Menu (light) and your mod with Aircraft Carriers Perfected.

Also, I've read on Reddit that anti cavalry should be able to zone-of-control cavalry units, it is a good idea I think, can u do it?

@therocksays02 I think some of them are too similar with other unit type's promotion, and recon can do much then other unit types. I will refer your ideas of course, but maybe only some of them.

Hello again. Sorry for keep bothering you but ignore my previous idea. For your next update, here is my proposal for Recon:
1. Can heal after move or attacking, since recon are very squishy without ambush.
2. Fortify in one turn as if two. If not possible, then 6 combat strength when defending.
3. Pillage cost 1 movement or half, so they can pillage road to prevent the enemy reaching them.
4. An additional attack promotion, call it "Blitz" like in Civ Revolution.

We can discuss this further if needed or you can simply ignore it, no pushing.

@Cutha I'm sorry i think i can't find that problem. In my case, I test in new game with only aircraft perfected mod, and have no problems (of course in database.log, too). I guess there are some conflict with other mods, but i'm not sure.

I think I have another idea for recon, they should be able to ignore disembark cost . Also, if you can, make spec ops be able to paradrop out from the enemy territory under specific circumstances as top tier promotion, which make them more viable for offensive operations, or maybe additional attack perk.

By adding the carrier mod as a dependency it broke all my saved games. Things like quick deals, detailed map tacks and real great people all stopped working. I edited the file for this mod to not need the carrier mod as a dependency and everything started working correctly again.

I was using this before you updated requiring carriers. When you updated not only was the mod disabled in my game but other mods also stopped working. I don't know the names, but the one that shows the bonuses on policy cards stopped working. CQUI also stopped working. The one that moved Prophet all the way to the right on Great Persons page stopped working. The game was still playable. Starting a new game with this mod disabled because I didn't have Carriers all the other mods were working fine.

Bro can you add ignore zone of control for recon and scale cliff wall? I want recon, especially spec ops to be badass like navy seal or someting.

@Asa It may because your language is not English or Korean. Sadly this mod only support English and Korean, so if you use other language it has problem. I change English as Base text now, but still this mod doesn't support other languages.

Weird, I keep getting squares instead of letters on some of the promotions. It's usually a language problem, but I'm not sure why?

I feel like Wading should also remove the movement penalty for Marsh (but I don't know enough to know how hard that is; since nothing Official does that specifically, I could see it being a huge pain).

@Zagaroth Thank you for your suggestion. I didn't change alpine's ability because of commando promotion (Melee type's). Next time I update this mod, I think changing alpine and commando both of them is good :)

Suggestion: The 'Alpine' promotion should include scaling cliffs. :) Gotta scout those all-cliff islands with a village on them!

I've used a similar mod before, it should work on any unit that uses standard promotion trees. It will have no effect on units using unique promotion trees.

The mod replaces the target (such as the promotions for ranged units), it doesn't edit the units. So all units of promotion class ranged will use the new ranged promotion tree.
