To remap a key, you need to write it as it displayed in the keyboard settings menu in the game. Left shift for English is "LEFT SHIFT", for German is "UMSCHALT LINKS". For Polish it's probably "LEWY SHIFT KURWA".

Hi, late to the party.. What kind of animation does this use? Speed potion one or that other new one that someone made?

I am unable to change key binding for sprint. When I try to edit activation key in gothic.ini no matter which key I save it's still working under left control button. I tried to change this to left shift button using various combinations like LSHIFT, LEFT_SHIFT, KEY_LSHIFT, Hexadecimal 0x2A. I have no more ideas how to change this.

I suggest changing the activation key to something else then, for example F.

This feels so natural that it should be a part of OG Gothic.

If you can't find it, launch the game with mod enabled, it should update gothic.ini
In default it's something like this:

NS_ActivationKey=LEFT CTRL
