do you have any other mods installed or maybe you're on mac?
This mod changes very little and in a way that isn't obtrusive, i would be surprised if it breaks anything

Shouldn't be.
It's more probable that the mod just didn't load. Are you using Mac?

it didn't work. I've killed the witch but the portal still there
