But it's basically a "what I've learned from Enceladan, and how it should've been" type of thing.
Also it's a brand new idea, so don't expect it to be out any soon!
1st Method - Contact your captain, and tell him to wiggle the ship around, in hopes the elevator gets unstuck. This method is rather unreliable, so stick to the 2nd one for guaranteed fixing.
2nd Method - Cut one of the doors that lead down into the elevator's section. Make sure the submarine is on COMPLETE HALT before proceeding this. Then, swim towards the elevator, and cut through it's walls with a plasma cutter, and make your way in. After you've made your way in, re-seal the hole you've entered from. Then initiate "FAILSAFE" mode from the terminal of the elevator, and use the top right arrow keys to un-stuck the elevator.
There, you've successfully unstucked your elevator! Have a safe trip.
I'll also be doing minor changes to this sub, and stay tuned, there's an even bigger sub on the way...
Re-fuelment of the main reactor works perfectly fine. Yes, it burns fuel rapidly fast, but it's in the reactor's design. It generates tremendous energy and radiation, while burning entire fuelrods in minutes.
I am not going to lie, I haven't been sticking around Barotrauma for a while. So I'll have to check for myself if there's actually any bugs with the reactor's refuelment or any bugs at all with the ship. I'll note and fix any bug I can find.
And yes, you can re-fuel or use any other type of fuel rod in the game for any of the reactors in the ship.
Keep in mind, the other reactor (WSC.01) is used to re-charge and re-stock the main armament of the ship, which also re-charges the backup batteries. Use the lever on top of the reactor to switch it's power to batteries.
I am also worried about the longevity of running this ship in a campaign setting since it seems very power hungry and the fuel rods are unique. Can the fuel rods of the different reactors be bought from outposts/crafted or not?
The re-fueling procedure should go as follows:
Enter the chamber with S.PUCS suits equipped.
Wait for the doors to open.
After, you'll have 30 seconds to finish the re-fueling or management of the reactor.
To fuel, hit the 'power' button if it was turned off. This will re-ignite the engine.
After re-fueling and hitting the button and setting the engine to 'manual',
leave the chamber within given time.
Keep in mind:
Do not forget to fix the junction boxes or batteries regularly on the electric bay.
Repair the NPS.03 regularly after it starts to wear off.
If you have absolutely catastrophic (un-fixable) problems with the NPS.03,
you can always resort to the W.SC - 01 super-charger engine. Located nearby the aft
section of the sub.
Hit the "backup-battery" button from captain's terminal. Now you should be good to go.
- You can go to the editor mode and simply remove the "dark red" delay components at the most back top of the submarine, where the engines are. There will be a text saying: "CANON EVENT, DO NOT DISRUPT." That's where the components are. Just de-wire them. This will prevent the "canon event".
@Luna Tashira
- After initiating the lockdown, you need to wait approximately 25 seconds to cancel it. There is a cooldown both for pressing and cancelling.
@The United States of America.
- At the latest version of the sub, there has been a change on the mining sector. A lot of shafts has had been implemented. Bots should be able to navigate through those.
A reminder to all, keep in mind that you can absolutely use this for campaign. It's not too big for the game to start 'lagging out' or 'glitching' in map generation.
Good luck and have fun to all.
It's an event taking place in the lore of Enceladan I've written. Lore isn't finished. But you somehow trigger it. It's still a mystery!) Remember, Enceladan claims it ensures your safety, which is all an illusion on the longer run!
Let me tell it to you this way, cracking open that door on the ballast isn't the thing that triggered what happened. That specific door on the Ballast A2 section is access via a special keycard that can be obtained from the navigation sector, by the captain.
And then keycards:
Level 1 - Very basic, given to guests and outsiders. Opens a handful of doors.
Level 2 - Main card level given to every personnel of the sub. Opens most of the doors.
Level 3 - Scattered around the sub, a special access card, opens few special doors.
Level 4 - High level card, mostly opens military sector doors.
Level 5 - Highest level card, captain has access to it, can access everything on the ship.
Special Cards:
ION Chamber Access Card: Allows you to enter ION chamber and fire the ION cannon.
Observatory Access Card: Allows you to enter the observatory.
Very.
not.
Don't worry man you don't need to delete it. Just have fun!
Sure, you are more than welcome to translate the sub, as long as you give credit if published!
Open console in editor first (F3), then type debugdraw
This will enable an advanced look onto your sub. While this is on, save the sub. It will bypass the light limit.
Only limit is your imagination.
I am, and will still be working on Enceladan for a while. May create different versions for different use. So while I am working on it, share as many ideas as possible if you've got any.
- Overpowered weaponry removal
- Exterior Shell HP decrease
- Electrical Performance Overhaul
- Specific Doors & Hatches being now destroyable
- Epileptic lighting fix (mostly)
These are mainly focus points on the upcoming Enceladan fix-update.
And do not forget to mention any little feature you'd like me to implement in this fix!
Sure, I will, but firstly I got an announcement.
I will update this sub soon. I'm planning on making minor changes including the keycard system.
Also every personnel that spawns on the ship gets clearance level of 2, which is required to unlock all of the basic doors. Clearance 3 is scattered around the sub, not requiring a special permission to obtain. Although same cannot be said for clearance 4 and 5.
Also, about the "event", you need to trigger it for it to start ticking. I did not include the way to trigger it, until it is discovered, I will not reveal it. After being initiated, it is really impossible to not notice, trust me!
Yes. You can check it out, I posted the link to it in the comments
