Amazing work. I can't tolerate Civ games as historical but as Warhammer fantasy ? Outstanding. Thanks for your efforts. If you could do the same for the Eldar in Civ BE that would be terrific. Having Ulthwe / Eldrad as a sponsor to control the various bands of "monkeigh" would be very enjoyable ....

After downloading this mod, I played a little then saved and closed out. On exiting, it displayed a 'Civilization 5 has crashed' screen but I thought nothing of it. It did that two more times before I couldn't open the game anymore without it crashing at the load screen. I'm wondering if this is something to do with the mod or my computer? I emailed Aspyr and I'm waiting to hear back on their end.
Do you know of a solution? Or maybe heard about this problem before?

How much does it scale based on game speed? I'm playing a game on marathon and 2 city states I established trade routes with still seem to be actively declining in influence. Is the mod not working or can the decay rate be higher than the influence increase on the games slower speeds?

@lee0897: then I'm afraid you're missing required things in the game :-) what DLC do you have? This needs G&K and BNW.

@Venthar: don't think so. My existing mods are based on the pre-End Times world and I don't want to have to go back over them. Besides, the End Times will run for a few more months yet and we don't know what it'll all look like when it's done, so it'd be silly to make mods based on it now.

@arg2007_043: possibly; I've added a third UU to Empire just because I found a brilliant model for it, and could easily add stuff to Bretonnia too because there are so many Medieval models around, and I'd like the mods to be a bit bigger than they are. Suitable models for High Elves are rarer, though, and my priority is making new civs, so I won't say what any additions might be or if/when they'll happen.

@Inquisitor Tsul: nope, no changes to the tech tree. The UUs replace existing units, but are unlocked by the same techs.

@Lorakyth: yes, hopefully I'll get around to every civ, but Dark Elves might be a while (haven't had too many votes for them). Also not sure about Cold One Knights as I'm not a 3D artist and so am limited to the unit models that other people have already made, and I think it's unlikely anything suitable will exist.

@naivewisdom: bear in mind that's 60 influence over 30 turns at standard speed, with 1 influence decay per turn as well. To make the most of this UA you have to be aggressive at starting trade routes early, and still can't ignore things like quests and espionage. In playtesting I haven't found it to be OP.

@Sir Kain the Godslayer: I'm not aware of any others that have this particular UA.

@WOO_FURRIES: to get multiplayer working with any mod you have to do a little tinkering. Here's a good guide: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=233428613 . Most of my WFB civs don't use Lua so they should work fine, but the High Elves are the only one that might give you trouble. Let me know how you get on if you try this.

@BoveZinator, kakeru99: DLC does not equal expansions; do you have Brave New World and Gods and Kings? This mod requires both.

@Breadsmith: A fair point, but I have too many Swordsman/Longswordsman UUs already, and I worried High Elves were getting too strong so I decided to nerf them by taking away their counter-cavalry unit. Also I wanted White Lions to land at exactly the same time as Eagleships, so Pikemen were at the right point in the tech tree.

@Scout: click "Subscribe" then go to "Mods" in the Main Menu. It should appear.

Given the High Elves' proliferation of spear-weilding units in the fluff, it seems weird that White Lions would replace pikemen rather than swordsmen or even longswordsmen.
