You know i know a mod that combines both the L4D1 and L4D2 horde calls into a one extended version which honestly sounds really cool!!

the sound from half life one is called "the_horror" or something it plays near an elevta

I did not know this was originally from half life 1, it's cool how valve used to reuse sound effects, like their games were interconnected

Hey a little update, your mod isn't the cause of the high pitch horde sound. It's the l4d1 zombie sounds that was causing it

I'll see what I can do to fix it. If it meets the requirements of Valve's sound files then there won't be much you can do.

the thumbnail is a l4d1 beta screenshot i can tell because the black infected does not have blood
but it has blood in retail
